A recent debate between Carl Bildt your typical Liberal-ideologically driven politician against one of the lone "REALIST" contrarian American, John Mearsheimer on the current Russian vs. NATO against Ukrainian invasion.

Europeans, are really thick headed, arrogant and clearly very ideological and not at all reasonable people despite their use of flowery language. It's no wonder that history often repeats itself. We are incapable of recognizing the limit of our abilities and the realities of life. Big powers can't be bullied and expect them to simply raise their hands up and say I give up.

I disagree with Brian in that both China and Russia are also working on stealth bombers. The H-20 and PAK DA. But I do agree with him that the B-21 Raider claimed price is way too high. At worst it should cost like three times the price of an F-35. Not this ridiculousness.

Good luck. Who is the alternative supplier China or Kazakhstan?

Boeing has loads of aircraft in their parking lot because of COVID-19 airline travel reduction led to airlines deferring or canceling orders. And then there is the 737MAX fiasco. 777X is also going nowhere. Airbus is pretty much delivering their airplanes as soon as they build them.

Bollocks. Japan has huge production of titanium metal sure, as do China and Kazakhstan. But USA has minimal production of titanium metal. Much less than Japan. The US might work the metal sure and make metal parts out of it but they have pitiful production of the metal.

This is a canard. The paint industry uses TiO2 not Ti metal. Not the same thing. Well, if China, India, Turkey, Brazil, etc do not want the titanium metal I guess that the Russian Navy can go back to making all titanium subs. Maybe they can make the PAK DP all out of titanium too.

Good luck with that. It takes over a decade to ramp up production of titanium metal. If not more. And if they are switching suppliers to China, or banking on Kazakhstan as a source, well. I will also add that making titanium metal is highly energy intensive and I do not see Japan's energy costs going down in the medium term. The US does not ramp up production because no one is interested in investing in for over a decade in facilities and laboratories before seeing any revenues.
Kazakhstan will sell rebranded Titanium from Russia at higher prices... problem solved.

Protests in China are over. Imagine thinking this could topple the CPC or lead to the balkanization of China. What's funnier is the CPC ended them by reaching a mutual compromise with the people, something rarely happens today in English-speaking countries. Of course, people who constantly preach "You can't protest in China or you die" will come with a lot of bad takes or will simply play three monkeys instead of letting their superiority complex go. All of their theories about China got discredited again. Almost nobody wants Westernization in China and the CPC actually listens to the people.

And the people who were posting hysteric comments or advocating for a crackdown last week here should pay attention to what happened too. Their image of China might not accurate or they may be under the influence of British and American propaganda.

Let them inflate their already gigantic defence spending, how much was it? $800B? Let them go $1T meanwhile their infrastructures and working class people slide further down the abyss, how much longer can they take it? Let them print $ and enjoy inflation, USD is on borrowed time

Does this not remind you of another superpower that disintegrated back in 1990? Let me quote Putin "United States is now walking the Soviet Union's path, and its gait is confident and steady," i am even starting to think that the u.s is actually going North Korea way lol

They keep saying they're Rome and even have these weirdo Roman style buildings everywhere despite actually being the descendants of barbarians.

They didn't mention it was Rome of 450 AD.
