Tbqh I think it's pretty pathetic to treat world cup qualifications as some kind of national priority. Creating more engineers, scientists, and technicians to advance the cutting edge of Chinese technology is much more important.

Most of the sport things is just wasting money anyway. Athletes are useless. Instead of watching something like World Cup or going to cinema, people should spend time studied or read SDF instead.

TAIPEI, Dec 5 (Reuters) - The chair of the British parliament's defence select committee said there is "much to explore" in boosting military help for Taiwan and that he had discussed the island's submarine programme while visiting Taipei last week.

Asked whether Britain should help support Taiwan militarily, whether with weapons or intelligence sharing, Tobias Ellwood said: "Yes - very much so".
Looks like the UK wants to get taught a lesson. I don't think China will ignore UK's recent provocations.

China hasn't even asked the UK to pay their blood debt incured from launching the Opium Wars, unequal and unjust treaties, ransacking the Yuanmingyuan Palace, forcing their way to host settlements in Shanghai and stay above the local laws, and even threatening to nuke China.

Selling more arms to Argentina may do the trick. ;) So instead of JF17 why not J10C with KJ500.
Yes, that oughta do. London is now anxious because their 40-year-long arms embargo against Argentina isn't working anymore as Buenos Aires has found alternative sources of equipment for their aging military.

China should really work towards helping Argentina to rearm and upgrade their military, alongside pulling Argentina into China's sphere through BRI and economic cooperation & integration.

Since there is a certain group of islands to the southeast of Argentina that remains a contentious issue for the Argentinian people, selling a couple DF-17s to Argentina as a response to the UK selling arms to Taiwan would certainly spice things up.
