Lol, talk about brain washed. Just a few protest, that isn't all that big compared to lets say the "riots in Brussels over a soccer game, wtf lol bbq" and you have stupidity like this, thinking that there is some Arab Spring bullshit happening
I used to respect this guys work but now that I think about it, given that he is getting his info on China from the kind of sources that are known to be openly useless (talking about you Gordon, China's favorite agent), I can say that this man is doing a good job of misleading even the most capable of people in the USA, thus ensuring that the collapse of the USA is inevitable. I noticed as well that he is mostly about self preservation, not the restoring of the nation from a collapse, hence I can safety say, the USA is truly on its last legs.
Just a reminder, no "the Division" to save this nation any time soon, especially not with a nation whose manufacturing is basically dead anyway and where most of the people are basically one disaster away from total madness

Some takeaways from what I've seen on chinese social media
1. There is indeed a lot of homegrown anger and fatigue over the covid lockdowns and economic conditions. Many Chinese also have an overly idealised view of the world outside and have seemingly forgotten that 1.1 million Americans died from Covid.
2. The fact that multiple cities protested at the same time reeks of organised instigation and planning. I certainly don't think ALL protestors were paid by the CIA but there is likely a core group behind them which seized on the Xinjiang fire as an opportunity.
3. The Chinese government is still bad at messaging. For example the fire chief press conference where he blamed the xinjiang fire deaths on the victims' poor fire awareness. Or the lack of coverage on why covid zero is being maintained. A lot of this outrage could have been avoided if they had hired some PR/marketing experts and had better messaging
4. Also, I think the police need new uniforms and training. The current uniforms look more like security guards and lack the seriousness of a police force. And many police lack authoritativeness in their manner and speech. May be why there are so many videos of people blatantly disregarding police orders (like chinese versions of US sovereign citizens)
5. I think it's possible the Chinese government was already planning to open up but will now be forced back into further lockdowns. If they open up now it'll make protestors think they "won", which opens up a whole new can of worms.

I am surprised that cryto still is maintained high value even after all these bankruptcy. Musical chairs probably would stop anytime soon. But cryto believers seem to think otherwise. Just months ago, the West was having a field day of China banning crypto that would bring jobs and future to Western countries and that the Chinese government is shortsighted. Now they are encountering a cryto meltdown that could become bigger and bigger by the day.
Oh... "erupting" is the verb they're using, huh? I've had far worse eruptions after some bad take-out than anything going on in China now. It begs an interesting question - where are the aerial shots of all these supposed protests? There are aerial shots in every respectable protest, so why are they missing here? Why are all the pictures taken so close to the "protesters" that I can see inside their nostrils?
I'll tell you why, because you could count the number of "protesters" on one hand with fingers to spare.
Police in China has far far less power than the ones in the West. I was very surprised when a dude yelled at a police officer at a driving test centre in Shanghai many years ago for like 10 minutes and the officer had to apologized to the dude when the supervisor came out. I would never yell at a cop in Toronto or in an American city.
