Nay. Most war-mongering and bloodthirsty.
I said intelligent. These things are not mutually exclusive. Germans invented some of the most impressive machines in its height and were it not for the giants Russia and the US, no nation or even combination of nations in Europe could have beaten Germany in WWII. German military machinery was superior to all allied equipment; some say that if the Me-262 were invented a little earlier, the US would have had to withdraw in defeat. Were they not so outnumbered and with so little territory, Germans would have swept Europe. They're the most intelligent Western Europeans; or at least they were. Once countries follow America, they tend to dumb down so we can't be sure anymore.

Maybe because they were good at copying from Britain?

Nevertheless, German companies copied English products relentlessly and dumped their wares onto the world market at attractively low prices. Extremely low labor cost and unregulated, long working hours were the key reasons for Germany’s cost advantage.
Despite these initial sales successes, there was one problem, however. The quality of German products was shoddy at best.

Imagine sticking a top official who is clearly completely confused due to brain damage in front of cameras and forcing your whole population to believe that this is fine and normal.

Propaganda is an opium. Sparingly used, it can treat temporary pain and rally the population to make a recovery. But having a generation that grew up on such powerful propaganda, you've killed your future prospects. Anyone who is dumb enough to fall for such idiocy will never have the full mental faculties to compete with healthy, critically thinking individuals.

When was the last time America sent a team consisting only of the master race to a scientific competition overseas? If the master race didn't have affirmative action, legacy/nepotism advantages and "holistic" scoring, how many spots would they even get in their own state controlled top universities?
The Anglo atlanticists can’t use Christianity anymore as a unifying schelling point for the western nations so they dogwhistle to using race. Have been since Obamas pivot to Asia.

Book smart is not necessarily the same thing as wisdom, autists populate many material science research programs and even intelligent people can be victims of propaganda given how many well meaning westerners devolve onto the xinjiang blood libel.

Secondly, there is the idea of the west needing a major war to prevent them from fighting each other, and what better enemy than a non white industrial otherised civilisation in China?

They copied a Spitfire and ended up with a Storm Bird? They copied a Sherman and ended up with a Tiger? This kind of reasoning is how Americans say China copied everything from them, even the tech they don't have.

Sure, then the Japanese are equals to German by your logic.

I've updated my previous post in the last five minutes with some additions.

I'm not going to continue arguing over this civilization kind of thing and I'll gladly lose this argument if necessary. It's not what I want to stake my pride on.

I think he talks about the 1870-90s, germany was a new state at the time and desperately underdeveloped compared to britbongs.

Their performance was somewhat inferior though still impressive. At the end of WWII, Japan lost on technology and number, but Germans lost only on number. Despite that, Japanese innovation in relation to the world was very very impressive in WWII and I say that as a person from Nanjing. Evil and intelligence are independent, and certainly not mutually exclusive. How much of that intelligence they can retain after 70 years of colonization is an unknown.

Saw it. Everyone stole from everyone... and the result is that German tech was number one in WWII. Better innovators + better thieves = smartest Western Europeans.

I mean... if you insist that Germans are blood-thirsty and therefore not highly intelligent, then yeah, it's not defensible. But otherwise, it's just a little exchange of info and viewpoint; no winning or losing.
