Sure, then the Japanese are equals to German by your logic.
Their performance was somewhat inferior though still impressive. At the end of WWII, Japan lost on technology and number, but Germans lost only on number. Despite that, Japanese innovation in relation to the world was very very impressive in WWII and I say that as a person from Nanjing. Evil and intelligence are independent, and certainly not mutually exclusive. How much of that intelligence they can retain after 70 years of colonization is an unknown.
I've updated my previous post in the last five minutes with some additions.
Saw it. Everyone stole from everyone... and the result is that German tech was number one in WWII. Better innovators + better thieves = smartest Western Europeans.
I'm not going to continue arguing over this civilization kind of thing and I'll gladly lose this argument if necessary. It's not what I want to stake my pride on.
I mean... if you insist that Germans are blood-thirsty and therefore not highly intelligent, then yeah, it's not defensible. But otherwise, it's just a little exchange of info and viewpoint; no winning or losing.

I've always taken Germans to be the most intelligent Western Europeans. Recently, that perception has slipped due to how poor their leadership has become but this shows me that the intellect of average German citizens is intact.

Edit: I mistook this and thought the poll was in Germany. This is in France and it is showing me impressive (well, to a low standard) things about the French. I think they should do one in Germany so we see if the French or Germans are more intelligent. The British, there is very little hope for them.
France already had the persistence to maintain independence way back to de Gaulle.

I think they said that it would be refilled at $70. They probably hoped the Price Cap would bring that down to that level. Hilarious to think that the Dems completely stone walled Trump from buying oil at -$20 instead lmao.
If money can refill barrels, just give me a billion. These American's think money can solve anything, including there fat ass with the liposuction. There is already signs that the democrats are going to try and steal the votes again so I honestly wonder, what is going to happen this time if they get caught in the act.....

Really embarrasing.
Western democracy will prevail because it is the "right" way
Yet somehow it can be so fragile to be toppled by facebook, twitter, and tiktok shitposting by wumaos.
It's domestic politics and Trudeau being a "Liberal" has to make the pre-emptive move lest he let the ascendant, and hyper-agressive conservative opposition take the lead on this issue which would be actually worse for the Sino-Canadian relationship.

In democracy like Canada, narrative is king. Right now to be anti-China is very fashionable regardless of one's ideological bend and persuasion.

Conservatives are beyond nutjobs.

While I hope that Brazil could settle its divide peacefully, but I have to ask: why does everyone here think Lula is some kind of savior? Remember that it's under Bolsonaro that Huawei won the deal to build Brazilian 5G, PetroChina won offshore oilfield, and China expanded agricultural and mineral import from Brazil.
Lula is constrained by the right-wing congress. What he can really accomplish eventually remains to be seen.

"[Chinese company Bytedance] recognize that technology’s influencing kids’ development, and they make their domestic version a spinach TikTok, while they ship the opium version to the rest of the world"

Exactly, all the more hilarious when this is being broadcasted by the CIA-media

It's a nice bit of racist and orientalist deflection from the fact that America has refused to regulate its social media in any meaningful way. Facebook and Twitter are among the core facilitators for the US's current political ills, and the fact that this take exists at all is telling on what its intent is.
Regulating the social media so their children can grow up in a honorable way is not the U.S. government's priority. Conducting info war is, just like what they did to the print media during the Cold War. BTW, anyone who claims that TikTok is equivalent to opium can be safely dismissed as a China-basher.

How powerful is the congress relative to the president in Brazil. For many Republics, President is way more powerful than the parliament, especially in Foreign Policy. For example, there are republics in which President can choose their cabinet members whoever they want without a need of approval from the parliament, which isn't a case in the US.
