Vietnam will help compliment the Chinese factories but its a bit absurd to think China will lose its manufacturing advantages like huge population and integrated supply chains. One advantage is that they can do some of the final production to avoid tariffs or make the virtual signaling copium addicted liberals feel better about the product they buy. As the article noted, vietnam also has a growing trade surplus with the US so they will eventually feel the heat too.
It seems only Malaysia and Philippines are the odd ones out. Keeping their distance further from China.
