China learned from 2008 great recession that it is a thankless job to save the world. China first and foremost is to stimulate growth without adding too much debts. World Bank is irrelevant now as it is an American institution that losing its cloud over world business policies.
Judging by how persistent they are about bringing up Khashoggi, I'm assuming he was a Western intelligence asset? Not really worth the diplomatic headache offing him otherwise.
This idiot has a very loose grasp on reality if he thinks he can push Saudi Arabia around. Considering what happened to that journalist, what makes Scholz think he can do what ever he wants. The moment Germany has sacrificed the German economy for the USA, who is going to have an ounce of respect for Germany right now. Seriously, one of these days, if they try to bring up human rights again, they should instantly be shown the door. To be honest, I used to have sympathy for Khashoggi and the way he went out but considering that he was part of the Washington post and thus is basically a western agent, I think my sympathy might have dried up in his case and really it should serve as a warning to all these NGOs in the future one day (I have literally nothing but disgust for these worthless vermin)
Khashoggi was a CIA asset, you should have no sympathy for him. This is also one of the reasons why the US is going batshit over a simple "journalist".
