Bro remember Apple want them to build a battery plant in the US and they say an emphatic NO! And what competitor the US EV market aren't that large anyway. Only in California and West Coast while the rest prefer ICE as most US legacy automakers had succeeded in their lobbying effort. The problem I see is the charging infrastructure is inadequate, mass usage may take until 2030 or more unless Federal gov't intervene and I doubt they will.Possible. I personally don't see how the Hungary plant would allow it to enter the American market. Unless there was a drastic change internally, I doubt that CATL is willing to leave the North American market to its competitors.
So imo, a factory somewhere in US/Mexico will happen eventually
