A few months ago I said all diplomatic interactions with America should be done publically for this exact reason. Whether it is a face to face meeting, a telephone call, any senior level needs to be broadcast for all to see. They will decieve, lie and use every trick in the book.
In this instance, the transcripts or even a recording of the telephone call could be released.

The irony is Jan. 6th the Republicans would've been making light if their insurrectionists had executed Nancy Pelosi. Here they want China to shoot down Pelosi's plane because it gets rid of her for the Republicans and then it gives them an excuse to take action against China.
