This Malaysian Independent calls about the Sinophobic double standards of Malaysians in the mainstream social media.
Towards the end he rants about these people in Malaysia who talk about Chinese businesses killing local businesses. These people were complaining about Chinese companies like Mixue and Tuhu taking over the local businesses. But where was their outrage when McDonald's and Starbucks were taking over the F&B spaces? Where was their outrage when IKEA killed of many local furniture malls? Where was their outrage when Makro and Tesco killed off many local mom-and-pop sundry shops? These people are double standard white (and Japanese) worshippers.
These people sip their Starbucks latte and line up for IKEA meatballs while complaining about the "Chinese takeover". They don't understand business, they only speak from their political bias.
