Oh yeah, of note, we should not forget about the Philippines, which is the 1st island chain, and recent developments of the past few years.

The Americans are weird.

Here they harp about how valuable their alliances are in Asia to confront China, with Japan and South Korea being pillars of that strategy.

Yet here we are, we are watching this 1st island chain, 2nd island chain, 3rd island chain, that type of real containment, being dismantled by the diplomatic efforts of the PRC.

Of course, these diplomatic efforts, all backed by the hard edge of real Chinese power, in the realm of economics and in the realm of technology.

This climate change story in Oceania is an important one. Even though I don't really give a crap. Guess I am a bad person. At least we should know it is important. LOL.

The Americans ceded all that, for what? Who knows? So they can boast they have Japan and South Korea on their side?

Apparently.

This alliance system of the west, came from the Romans. Someone should inform the Americans that the Romans did not survive. The empire declined, fell into degeneracy, then went poof!

:D:oops:

The whole indo-pacific idea is pretty dumb. Do they not realize that India and ASEAN are competitors for same segment of manufacturing value chain?

Hell remember how Biden promised

How do you think ASEAN leaders will think upon seeing this news? Is it any surprise that none of them are keen about indo-pacific?

I forgot which podcast (shilao or guanqi, think it was gaunqi, and also rather recent one being this or last week), but that 4 billion was not investments but basically a waiver of some debt the Indian military owed the US.

Apparantly it was 6 billion India owes, and it will pay some ~2 billion while the rest, 4 billion will just be 'forgiven/forgotten'. And part of that 6 billion was stuff like the equipment India got for galwan (used clothes etc.). Ofc it must also be a lot more than just that, but not sure what else it is.

The US expressed their intentions before that they want to make India wean off Russian military equipment.

So if those investment is for "forgiving" their debts, it would allow India to purchase more weapons from US. Would be funny if India just took the money, and made little to no effort in weaning off their dependence on Russia's weapons lmao.

Bro the First island chain which is the SCS is a foregone conclusion in China's favor, from now on any dispute will be discuss diplomatically between the 2 countries w/o any interference from outsiders. China 1 America 0

Let's see what happen when Kishida visited Yasukuni shrine and see IF the pillar can hold.

Bro my belief without the American presence there will be a conflict between SK and Japan. Japan fear of China is a mirage, the real threat is the combine NK (with nuclear weapon) and SK (same military tech level) seeking revenge.

Yeah $15 million is a joke.

No we love you bro, you and @Crang makes this forum fun.

I do think there's a good chance India will try to lessen dependency of Russian weapons, but not actually reduce it down to 0.

Also, even if we say India wanted to reduce reliance to some '33%', it would still a very long multi year process for this to even happen as well.

Also India wants to make things domestically, although, uh lets see when they can actually do that (wholly domestic designs, and not just license building foreign designs domestically).

@Michaelsinodef especially the Indians are cheapskate, want the best BUT can't pay. And for me this Ukraine War there is a rethink about US weapons, the Javelin aren't effective as advertised and the M777 isn't a gamechanger, as it is a sitting duck and hard to deploy. Now I understand why there are a proliferation of truck-mounted self-propelled howitzer in PLA services. Those towed M777 howitzer are not ideal in the modern day warfare.

Hi guys, after some hiatus, Deino sent me for a 2-week unannounced holiday in Ukie to learn again about Bucha massacre for posting not in line with the established narrative, ended on 19/4, but then I had some deep mourning of losing my beloved bro... but now I return to the Jianghu... though may engage less with the absurd la la land of Zelensky production house. Cheers all!

Nearly 72 million barrels delivered to Asia.
Talk about winning, all this did was expose the EU to be a serious paper tiger that can bitch and whine but ultimately cannot accomplish anything with or without the help of the USA which is also exposed as a major backstabber that ultimately would be better off on Venus right now given that the USA has nothing good to give the world except for more bowling ball sized people what binge eat everything. Think of the Africans and Middle East people that are starving for the sake of these swine who are not grateful in the slightest

PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS: “The powers that rule us have recognized that Washington is unprepared and unfit for a wider war and have ordered the New York Times to bring the situation under control.”

The source of conflict in the world is not found in Russia, China, and Iran. The source of conflict is, as I have reported for years, the neoconservative ideology of Washington’s hegemony over the world. The doctrine, as penned by the neoconservatives themselves, states:

“Our first objective is to prevent the re-emergence of a new rival, either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere, that poses a threat on the order of that posed formerly by the Soviet Union. This is a dominant consideration underlying the new regional defense strategy and requires that we endeavor to prevent any hostile power from dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control, be sufficient to generate global power.”

Putin told the neoconservatives in 2007 at the Munich Security Conference that he accepted no such limits on Russian sovereignty. China and Iran have also rejected Washington’s hegemony. It is the neoconservatives’ unwillingness to accept a multi-polar world that is the cause of conflict. If the neoconservatives are not dethroned, they will bring about nuclear Armageddon.
