A tiny island surrounded by a sea of hostile neighbors run by radicals that are happy to eliminate this tiny Chinese majority island city.
Its a MIRACLE that we survived and even went on to PROSPER.

China has no issue with who Singapore chooses to trade with. But the main gripe is military - Singapore allowing her naval base to be use by US warships and airbase to be used by Australian submarine chasers to fly all over South China Sea.
Singapore has the right to do what it takes to ensure her national security. But Singapore has no right to ensure her own security at the detriment of another country's security, especially when that country is not an adversary to Singapore.
Iran is sick of their tankers getting "seized" by the west, so its time to seize theirs in retaliation.
I love to post about M777 because it was wunderwaffe that never was for me.
We have to remember that M777 is only being marketed as supergun for two purposes
1. To enhance the appearance of the material support being given to Ukraine.
2. Actually marketing the product
It is not supposed to be a game changer. It is only 39cal barrel, which means it is going to be outranged by many ~50cal guns in service. However, it was designed with a very specific purpose in mind, which was first and foremost to be air transportable for rapid deployment by C-130 and CH-47. This is why it uses a lot of expensive titanium vs. steel which would have made it much cheaper.
It also has modern electronic improvements which older towed guns lack.
It's not quite right to criticize the way M777 is being misused and mischaracterized right now. In a normal NATO setting, you will have total air superiority (because... NATO) and once everything is softened, then you can put down these M777 and provide fire support in forward areas against whatever is left. This is why Excalibur is kind of integral to this, because you are basically picking off leftover threats.
@supersnoop bro thanks for the explanation, I'm not a military guy BUT an enthusiast and most western MSM reports are adverts for the MIC. My criticism IF use to fight a peer or modern adversary then it will become an easy target. IF the Ukrainian received it beforehand then it may inflicted some serious casualties to the Russian BUT overall war impact is minimal.
