Question: What improvements or modernization program plus acquisition did the Indian Air Force (IAF) made last year that has placed then ranking #3 Air Force in the world according to Global Air Power Rankings. The reports state that although PLAAF has more aircraft than IAF it lacks superiority. According to their criteria of rankings on the report the organization apparently do the following: WDMMA prepares its report by evaluating many factors like present strenghts & weaknesses of air force. It uses formula to take into account values related to the total fighting strength of the various air services of the narions thus, the military air power of a country is not analysed only based on its total quantity of aircraft but rather on its quality and general mix of inventory.

But this sentence confused and left me dumbfounded: "It also focuses on LOCAL AERO-INDUSTRY CAPABILITIES, inventory balance (General mix of unity types) and force experience."

I wasn't aware that if a country mostly imports their air craft/fighter planes, fighter bombers, transport planes, E.W. etc..that would equate to bettering a country who's industrial capacity not to mention indigenization is far more mature in comparison to India. Unless someone here can educate me on what I have been missing about the Indian Air Force is this yet another ploy by Western publication to push the Jai Hinds into thinking that they have indeed the better air force than China so that they can be goaded into another border clash? Goodness to gracious man, what the f is wrong with the West. Have they lost any semblance of critical thinking and has totally replaced it with nothing but wishful fantastical purely ideological based thinking?

By the power of wishful thinking of course.

If they can place America top of world pandemic preparedness tables, why not this?

I'm not sure if they understand this but food vouchers only help if the limit on food is supply of currency caused by inequality.

Food vouchers do not magically cause food to appear where there was no food previously. All it does is cause food inflation if food supply is fixed, and most European countries are running at maximum food production capacity, limited by their supply of fertilizer and arable land.
It will start as food vouchers but might end as ration cards. The whole concept is retarded however. Europe has no lack of farmland. Just get the chemical fertilizer and food will be cheap. Even without the chemical fertilizer there is enough farmable area but it would not be cost effective and you would need more labor, and likely diesel, to work the fields.

I mean, are we surprised?

I still remember all the previous such plans: Build Back Better World, Global Gateway, Blue Dot Network, remember all those?
That is all the US is good at really. Marketing.

Biden doesn't know squat about how to handle the economy. He printed loads of money with COVID-19 effect still ongoing. Caused massive inflation. His economy depends on Chinese inputs and his infrastructure plan would require Chinese inputs to work effectively. The longer they delay the implementation of the infrastructure plan the less the money he printed will be worth. To add insult to misery he had to cause the Russo-Ukrainian conflict at this moment. And caused energy, food, several raw material, prices to spike. Making the money he printed be even less useful. The US should have started the conflict at least 5 years after infrastructure construction was started.

Based on what studies? Don't these supposed "advanced societies" and "Freedom thinkers" gamed these scenarios out? Or once again have the actual bright folks responsible for these types of situation been replaced by political science nutjobs

The bright folk are still there. They are just being disregarded. Congress did not consult with the Federal Reserve before weaponizing the dollar and swift against Russia.

Biden hasnt made a decision to listen to Yellen or Tai on the China tariffs. Yellen has a PhD in economics and was a former fed member then there is Tai with a history BA.

Digital yuan rollout need to be accelerated. It is not enough just using national currencies in international transactions, the payment infrastructure itself is important. All efforts must be made to chip away at the dollar’s role in trade, investment, financing.

Rumors are already floating that it's getting rolled out big time next month. It's not a coincidence US is doing this, they would have got wind of it too.
