Surely if the west had simply given the necessary vaccines… this sort of thing wouldn’t happen… would it… it’s not like the west isn’t doing the exact same… you fall in line with western narrative or be a western ally or you don’t get shit… at least China is simply “asking” them to be neutral if you want something from us and not actually having to support and do things for it…
At this point in time, you can support the west and get absolutely nothing but thoughts and prayers or that can basically be neutral to a red line issue (and this absolutely benevolent where China is concerned since they could easily push for more) and gain access to the necessary goods that can save your life at a punctual timing that will be at most a few weeks rather then 2 years from the west where by then, most of the people are already dead. It really isn't a hard choice to make in those circumstances, plus at this rate, Ukraine may as well consider a change in leadership and then align themselves with Russia and China instead, just so that the EU can finally take them much more seriously as opposed to the living joke role they now have had for 3 decades.
Really, the west had the perfect chance to win Ukraine over and they have blown it so damn bad, that quite frankly many nations are going to be extra weary when accepting medical supplies from the west, less you get expired medicine after paying a premium.

Cold war 2 started in 2017
WWIII started in 2020 or late 2019
Cold War 2.0 with Russia already started in 2014, with the US funded and US organized Anti-Russian coup in Ukraine. The Ukraine coup was one US coup too far. Yet, so many US neocon/neolib regime apparatchiks still believe that Russia will join their regime to gang up on China. Sanity seems to be in less and less supply in Washington DC these days.

Didn't the West say that whistleblower should be protected. People have the right to know.

It'll prob run around in rings and not turn anything up like that "Yes Minister" sketch. Hancock feels like a sacrificial lamb and an easy magnet for public anger, as opposed to the whole Conservative Party/Political system.

The British Tory government is beyond disgusting. Hancock gets up to all sorts of incompetent and corrupt dealings and Boris is all, I see nothing wrong here, no investigation needed!

But as soon as a whistleblower leaks something, he demands a full investigation.

Its not like Boris could sack Hancock. Boris had (has? ;) ) plenty of mistresses and an unknown number of children lol

Yeah its not that strange actually. China has many customers ready to take its vaccines.

So why should China prioritize a hostile country instead of its friends and neutral countries?
I don't know what exactly you want to ask by this question. Do you mean China should not have offered vaccine to Ukraine at the end of 2020 at all?

If China did not, then there is nothing Ukraine would be worried about today, it would not be swung to withdraw today. To make the stick work, one has to give a carrot first. Besides, China is not prioritizing Ukraine, it was just commercial transaction that China is willing to do even with US if it is willing to swallow the pride.

No I didnt say that. obviously all customers are welcome

My question was more of what happened after the Ukrainian "muh human rights" backstab at the UN. Naturally China would put Ukraine at the back of the queue and redirect the vaccines to other friendlier countries.

My post was more meant to critique the "unnamed" diplomatic sources on the article, where the diplomats were accusing China for blackmailing Ukraine by withholding vaccine deliveries.

China will obviously pay more attention to allies, friends, and neutrals than to hostile states. So Ukraine shouldnt complain

Anyway, the matter was settled. Ukraine has now reversed their stance on the UN thing lol.
However, this also shows that Ukraine is not a trustworthy country for China to do serious business with.
