Meh..she's a pretentious kid that has been hoisted as this global savior for climate change. She's just being used as a pawn, a tool for the usual suspects in the west. Poor kid.
Exactly. There's nothing to be gained from engaging, denigrating any child regardless of their political stance unless the child itself is outright voicing and calling for violence then it's whipping time.
Greta reminds me of Kuwaiti Ambassador Saud Al-Sabah who used his own daughter, Nayirah, to convince the US Congress to wage war against Iraq back in 1992. Nayirah falsely claimed that she had witnessed Iraqi soldiers taking babies out of their incubators in a Kuwaiti hospital, remove the incubators, and left the babies to die.

Greta is probably being paid because now she's repeating Republican talking points on China. It's pretty pathetic when adults hide behind children. She don't have Trump to bash for her to get publicity anymore.

There was this theory, from the literary world, Derrida was the proponent of his theory of deconstructionism.
I never learned it, but the prof mentioned it a few times in literature class, and the mere idea stuck in my mind all these decades.
To generalize the article it appears the Chinese prof is saying that technology has changed the media landscape, which has lead to a deconstructionist free-for-all.
That I agree.
Nothing cures hubris than having to experience humiliation and defeat. America has yet to taste one and in my opinion it's due for one. The rest of the world’s belligerent and dismissive attitude towards China and tbh to most Chinese will gradually dissipate just in time for others to accept that Asians/Chinese are just as welcome to chart it's own path free from the meddling rigid ways of the west.
