It would be ironic if Guo tried to escape prosecution in the US, he would have to flee to China to avoid extradition.

That actually wouldn’t be such a bad idea. For all the bad rap China gets very few dissidents actually end up dead. If Trump decides that Guo knows more than he should then there might be an Epstein situation once Guo is in prison.

I don't discount the possibility given Guo's horrid character as a human being. Even now the New York Times is accusing him of being a spy for China and not a dissident persecuted by China.
It was definitely dumb for him to pick a side in U.S. politics when things are so tense between two parties. Just praise the system like most Chinese dissidents and things would’ve been cozy but he just had to side with fringe lunatics like Bannon. Now he’s part of a sinking ship.
