The CCP knows the real state of industry inside China.
If the rare earth card comes onto the table, then the CCP is saying we are going to get you Americans.
If the CCP decides to do nothing, then they know, they do not need to do anything, just let the engineers do their work and components will be American free.
That is why I feel the Americans are very weird, their current rulers.
Normally, in this kind of competition, in tech and business of tech, you compete.
Here the Americans are not competing. They make a move, the sanctions, then sit back to watch if the Chinese could do it.
What decides this battle, is not competition, what decides this battle is solely the engineering and technical capabilities inside China. They do not even have to be the best or even equal, if the Chinese tech is close enough, that is enough in the 5G space to wipe out others. The economies of scale will take over, and that could be it.

Flood waters are adding to influent that's all. Whether the dam can deal with these stresses is the issue of contention. The initial noise was started by FLG groups and media then picked up by Indian media into a cycle of fake news and ridiculous exaggerations, each believing in each other's lies and adding upon them. Now even some western media have picked up on it and reported but not with the same level of certainty of doom that the former two have. Western press still want some reputation so they will only raise the issue to incite the idea of CCP being irresponsible and Chinese work being low quality. They achieve their goal through this while preserving their "reputation" even if and when nothing eventuates. The sky is always falling down on China according to these losers and has been falling every few months for the last 30 years. If and when they eventually get it right (dead clock is right twice a day), they will conveniently forget all those countless times they were wrong.
The dam is designed to be able to tolerate a certain level of stress. When influent pressures exceed certain thresholds, they can release water that doesn't need to pass through the generators. All of it is designed to handle order of magnitude higher unpredictable circumstances. A little bit of flooding will do sweet fuck all, you can throw a tsunami on top of the current floods and detonate a nuke close by and it'll still be manageable. The morons who are talking up the fake news are politically motivated losers. FLG and Indians. What more need be said?
American dams that have broken apart in the past failed due to oversights and improper engineering. Barring these human errors, everything is quantifiable and based on solid engineering principles, not feelings or political alliances. So if the dam fails in any way, it would be due to some engineering/ construction fault rather than the floods. They are designed to withstand WAYYYYYYYY more than serious flooding. In fact I'm pretty sure the TGD is designed to withstand flooding on top of earthquakes on top of nuclear attacks with damage control measures all the way through. What you may hear reported in the enemy's media will almost certainly be exaggerated out of context garbage. They can make the vast majority of people believe that bats are a common dish in China, they can dress up some out of context photos and make them believe the TGD has broken apart even if nothing has happened. That's the power of media and western brainwashing. You can't find a city in China with over a handful of restaurants that have bat on the menu. Yet it can be made believable every third restaurant serves the meat.

Most people like me probably don't go looking for Indian or FLG bullshit but they make a lot of noise and their material can be funny. FLG is old news. They're now basically a 5th column with tiny presence in China, mostly residing in and degenerating the west. Fooling white liberals and anti-China idiots alike with their nonsense. The problem with them is the amount of attention and coverage they receive. It dupes people into believing lies about China and CCP. The reason they're so successful is probably because China and the CCP isn't perfect and still in the bettering itself phase. Just easy to buy into the propaganda and believe the outright lies.
Arguing with them is definitely not advisable and going out of your way to read their garbage isn't either. I've given up on reading Indian forums because everything that is even associated with China incites hate, the kind that could make Hitler blush. Had no idea so many Indians were so hateful.
