Can we stop talking in circles? Of course chinese people are friendly and sincere in spite of their correct/justified suspicion (or “prejudice” as you put it) to Japan/Japanese, not because of some secret love/affinity/whatever which is what you keep insisting.I have been to China for most part of the year for the past 2 years and will be going back soon again next month for another year. My experience are people in China has been unsuperfacially friendly attitude and show interest to my Japanese colleagues. Of course there are some Chinese people with prejudice but I have seen instances where that also quickly evaporates after a few friendly meetings. I"m not saying everyone is friendly but there are enough people to make the overall experience positive.
Note that I am not talking about Japanese attitudes toward Chinese overall. There are always people with prejudice and there is nothing of my concern.
I’m not responding to this anymore because you keep dodging.
