The Cockroach Party started because some Indian authority called unemployed Indian youth, cockroaches. What does that say about how India claims they have so many youthful workers that gives them an edge over China? You wouldn’t make such a comment if it were only a few. So what advantage do they have when they don’t have the jobs to employ them?

And then I saw this YouTube video of two Indians talking about what will the US and China do when apparently India has a competitive technology sector to theirs but they just haven’t gone global yet. Well then why haven’t they?

The fact is India has been doing for a long time what Silicon Valley is doing now which is how you can tell what the US tech bros are doing is a scam. They’re selling on a rosy picture of the future to get and make money now.

Apologies for the weird formatting, I don't know why my links aren't showing embeds properly. There are alternative links as Archive.Today is not working either.

Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and Oracle official report a combined $1.35T in debt, but Nikkei discovered an additional $1.65T in debt hidden through a shell game of trading compute contracts, GPU contracts, and other services contracts. Meta holds the most off-books debt at $420B. At a combined $3.0T this is larger than the sovereign debt of Canada.
Personal Thoughts
More dangerously, Nikkei just looked at the top five AI companies. If you recall earlier this year when

here you get to witness in real time, the thought process of those who believed operation Barbarossa was a resounding success.
It's not that complicated: bombing ≠ destroying.

There is a word for this: daydreaming.

If its AI demon core then release of Kimi weights on 27th will trigger supercriticality

That sounds very familiar. Does anyone from Hong Kong want to go lend a hand?

Their argument is "see what happens when guardrails are removed" and thus "only the good guys should be able to serve models and only with guardrails"... This is a slight of hand dual prong attack on both Chinese AI and open source

Immediate problem I see with this idea is, unless they plan on blocking all international connections, any rando anywhere in the world can use open models to launch attacks so blocking open models for US users will only prevent them from defending themselves, as demonstrated when HG had switch to GLM.
