Africa is not a country, it's a continent made up of 54 countries. China was, at one time, poorer than the likes of Ghana but was always richer than the likes of Burundi or Malawi. I really wish people would stop lumping up an entire continent (the second largest at that!) because it doesn't give a view that's grounded in reality.

Manager jobs are already getting flat out eliminated due to AI and we're still talking about outsourcing them lol. Some people (even those from south asia of all places) really want to think they are special and they wont be affected.
Then what happens when there's no market for products and services because nobody folks are not employed?
Anything that can be done in US and Europe can be done elsewhere. The situation has completely changed since Covid lockdowns really opened up remote work as a viable option. Now every company has the infrastructure snd policies in place to support remote work.
If managers can be replaced by AI then CTO and CEO will be outsourced to India or other cheaper countries!
Outsourcing is not stopping until everyone in the world has equal pay for the same job. Economic convergence is inevitable
Or they just use AI to eliminate the CEO and CTO position altogether.
And if you go thats' too important to AI then we can easily say the same for outsourcing. International data residency laws, export controls (like US chip and AI restrictions) etc make it legally risky or impossible to place core senior executives and R&D leaders in foreign jurisdictions.
Theres a reason outsourcing for most part so far is usually only done for entry and junior level staff. Its not just money reasons.
Western countries should also restrict their investments in these countries as well. No more easy lunch, the world has subsidized their consumption for far too long.
Now you are changing the rules by moving from AI to export control.
Lets stick to the original premise you said that AI will destroy outsourcing. Then you said AI will destroy all jobs until even CEO is also replaced by AI.
So, we end up in a scenario in the future where AI companies with AI CEOs will be fighting each other. Why not replace investors with AI too.
So, humans dont have any money making potential left. We can all just become homeless or start a revolution?
