Well, are there other cities in the world, be they in Europe or Japan, that in your view are models that China should follow to build more sustainable, livable cities?

You clearly have some in mind, considering your list of shortcomings of Chinese cities.
Sorry, I just noticed your message, but I think the topic has already gone too far. A separate thread should be created for discussing Chinese cities and urbanism, mixed with aesthetics and design. Therefore, I think people won't be very pleased if I start polluting the feed with my thoughts.

Just let it rest. I'm sure there are people in other countries, including me, envying China's wide, spacious thoroughfares that accommodate vehicles and separate paths for bicyclists and pedestrians.

I wouldn't be surprised if she is the Taiwanese equivalent of Kaja Kallas. An opportunist that manages to rise upwards because she could see the way the tides are shifting.
......she may also have the same legs (Basic Instinct)as Kaja Kallas...I am so weak.BTW ShuQi is a great favourite-don't know if she is in her class but...

this news from few Feb, but not sure if seen here, Karma Automotive seems to be subsidiary of a China company in US, and Factorial Energy, its solid state battery supplier, also US based, the founder seems like China-originated turned US citizen, that wants to compete vs China battery supply chain(?)

Factorial partners Karma Automotive for US-based solid-state battery EV production

The collaboration will integrate Factorial’s proprietary FEST (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology) solid-state battery technology into Karma’s next-generation vehicle platform.

, a leader in solid-state battery technology, and Cartesian Growth Corporation III (“Cartesian III”) announced that Factorial has received strategic investments from IQT, Philenergy, and POSCO Future M. This funding accelerates Factorial’s expansion in high-growth sectors, including drones and mobile robotics.

IQT, the not-for-profit strategic investor for the U.S. national security community and America’s allies, joins Philenergy and POSCO Future M, two key battery supply chain partners. Together, they reinforce Factorial’s development of a resilient battery ecosystem aligned with trusted allies and secure supply chains.

“Energy performance is becoming a major limiting factor in mobility and intelligent systems,” said Siyu Huang, CEO of Factorial. “From unmanned aerial vehicles (“UAVs”) to robotics, incremental improvements are no longer sufficient. Support from IQT, Philenergy, and POSCO Future M accelerates our growth, particularly in the strategic drone segment.”

weird
in the alleged interview with the hacker, he claimed to use a bot net? this dosnt answer much
distributed download can get pass detection based on bandwidth but most firewalls nowadays can do deep packet inspection, which, should data loss prevention be in place, can catch the exfiltration of data.
the bigger question of privilege escalation is also not answered.
he claims to gain access via a vpn gateway as, i assume, a user. he should not have access to files not belonging to that user (assuming least privilege principle is applied). also to setup a botnet, he either needs to have control ofalot of accounts or access to active-directory ("server" that can psh updates to devices in network). both require some sort of admin privilege
sounds kinda suspicious
