Trump thinks of the now so when he's for the ceasefire all he's thinking is he wants an offramp for the war because again he doesn't see ahead hence why he didn't see the war blowing up in his face like it has. The truce is not some grand strategy on his part. That being said he could start firing at any moment for the simplest of reasons. He didn't think Iran could control the Strait let alone last this long in war. Trump is probably angry that he didn't wasn't the one that thought of charging a toll at the Strait paid to the US. That's why he was late thinking up that scheme.

Quite frankly with the amount of enemies he is making, it only takes one bad day for things to go forever wrong with Trump in a physical sense. I mean after everything he had done for the current year, I can honestly say that I cannot see a real win from him, even the so called Venezuela situation cannot be seen as a real win given the enormous reputation damage it caused along with the actual prize being useless unless a fully functioning supply chain is developed in Venezuela which will ultimately that longer then his entire presidency

Once Trump is out of office, Trump and all his politically involved children and Kushner should be sent to lengthy prison sentences and permanently ban any of them from running for political office ever again. All Trump, his children and Kushner’s businesses should be destroyed and all their assets should be confiscated. You cannot allow this corrupt family to form a political dynasty. Him and his entire corrupt family is a threat to the world. You cannot allow such people to hold political office in a powerful country like the US. I hope even China puts full sanctions on the entire Trump and Kushner family once they leave office like it did for Pompeo. That entire family must be ruthlessly and unapologetically destroyed beyond repair.
