True. And the Spaniards do try to differ themselves from the French when dealing with China. However, I wonder why China doesn’t have target export controls and sanctions against EU countries that try to pick fight against China, especially France and the Baltic countries. For example, China could impose an end-users stipulation for its rare earth and industrial parts exports against French car manufacturers (the industries EU’s EV tariffs intend to protect) and all industrial bases in the Baltic States. The results could be somewhat limited as these components could be diverted through Germany and other EU states. Nonetheless, it still increases input cost for the target countries and respective industries."Xi Jinping giveth, and Xi Jinping taketh away".
Besides, it mostly benefits the Spanish, and I like them.
