It seems like the restrictions and counter measures against EU are indeed lifted for completely no reason and with absolutely no seeking of justice, accountability and consequences towards blatant criminal activities against us, and towards a barbaric and aggressive actions that shows a total disregard of human dignity and rule of law. I see this news with huge disappointment and regret.

But I will still give some benefit of the doubt here and assume that the government is still in the process of crafting an appropriate response towards those Dutch criminals and unprovoked war aggressors (yes, the Dutch needs to officially declare war on us in order to use that barbaric cold war emergency law of theirs).

A failure of a proper response (or a lack thereof) is a huge blow towards the Mandate, I say this as a FACT not an opinion. Being soft on standing up for our rights, interest and basic principles is exactly why Japan still dares to actively bark like a dog and interfere in our domestic affairs, which is an act of war. I am sick of weak and verbal-only responses and lack of effective political maneuvering and concrete responses. Even the evil Russians, in whatever dire state they are in, still have the cheeks to make a propaganda phrase
"China's warning" to insult us. As our global position and power shifts, other things also need to fundamentally change and improve too because being too weak to stand up for ourselves is no longer a legitimate excuse anymore.

And to all Sinophobes reading this, don't ever say that Chinese people never complaint about the government. Because Chinese people factually do and will always do it from the intentions of benefitting and improving the country. Not your shameless dipshit western fantasies of balkanising and colonising China. So don't preach your own demise.

Ie. if negotiations breakdown, China can turn off the faucet anytime, but for now is willing to offer leeway so that negotiations can take place to begin with.

I swear some of you guys need to chill out, with how some of the reactions here have been I'm convinced that you lot would not be satisfied with anything less than PLA soldiers ransacking and burning Versaille.

Here's a catch, with all the doom and gloom that's been taking place these past two months, I challenge anyone to name one area where China has actually lost ground and been put on the defensive geopolitically this year. Just off the top of my head, I can't name any. Even the Philippines Coast Guard fiasco was more of a one time operational failure, rather than something that altered the status quo of the region. So go on, list 2025 blunders that have worsened the geopolitical status quo against China, I'll wait.

If it were that easy, everybody in America would do this to circumvent the tariffs (not forgetting, in addition, accumulating costs by adding more middlemen).
Well, there's that one story about a Chinese steel cable making company realising who their previous clients really were then they got the specs from PLAN during RFQ for carrier arresting cable and found it to be strangely familiar.

It was supposedly an example that lead to 工业大摸底. A Chinese steel cable making company has been making cables with very high (and specific) specs for a foreign client. When they heard PLAN was doing RFQ for carrier arresting cables they thought they will give it a try. When they got the requirements from PLAN they realized to their shock the specs are very similar to that one wierd client of theirs. With the implication that end user for the cables that this client was ordering could very well be USN.

There's probably a non-trival amount of this happening with only the middleman who truely knows the link between Chinese supply chain and American MIC. If you want to investigate this though watch out for depressive tendencies that can lead to 8 shots to back of the head.

The Americans, if nothing else, are resourceful when it comes to getting what they need. Procuring titanium from the USSR for the SR-71 spy planes which were then used to spy on the Soviets is basically a preview of how China's exports ultimately go into the weapons being used to contain her.

Beijing might or might not know, but there are certain advantages to letting US MIC grow dependant on Chinese supply chain and shutdown domestic production, you can't rug pull someone if nobody bought any.

I can do you one: TikTok being sold and now being under the control of Zionists.

This is objectively ground that has been lost. A platform that could have been used to counter propaganda within the empire and—dare I say—impart class consciousness has been lost. Many would say that this wasn't important but TikTok was a powerful mainstream voice China had.
