This netizen group mentioned in the article are likely to be the Chinese-educated Chinese from the private Chinese-medium schools. Also, the Malaysian Chinese are fighting a racially-charged flame war/lawfare with Malay nationalists right now because the Malay politicians are competing to prove their racial credentials by how many Chinese they can get into legal trouble, so the Malaysian Chinese are looking for opportunities to counter.

Malaysian Overseas Chinese also tend to keep to their native Chinese Folk Religions and therefore the values systems are expected to be more upright and prosocial to Chinese cultural norms...as opposed to Chinese traitor groups who tend to follow anglo american evangelical christian or fundamentalis wahabbist muslim cults.

This is basically going back to the Shinzo Abe days. She's like a second version of Abe. Let's see how long she will last.

Political confrontations between Japan and China had been intense for the.past decade.

It's a forgone conclusion that who ever is elected, China will expect a conflict with Japan in any situation around Taiwan and east Asia, if it gets to that point.

That is a bit of an exaggeration to say Malaysian Chinese kept the culture alive because they actually practice a sort of fusion culture called peranakan/nyonya

Westernised Malaysian Chinese are a small minority. People like Namewee are even rarer. Ever since he turned anti-China he's fallen off the mainstream and now his main audience are taiwanese.

This is totally untrue. Peranakan Chinese are a tiny minority whose ancestors are those who arrived in Malaysia hundreds of years ago during the Zheng He era. Because of the hundreds of years of intermingling they adopted a fusion culture.

But a second, much larger wave of migration took place from 1900s onwards, and those are the ones who retain Chinese culture and form mainstream Malaysian Chinese culture. If you've ever been there you'll know how strong the Chinese identity is, especially in terms of traditional customs. In fact, many Peranakans actually got converted into this mainstream Malaysian Chinese identity.

You cannot go on. Europe is not a leader in innovation. who is actual leader in innovation aka fundamental research?
infact Russia replicated CERN after its scientist were expelled (I posted links in Russian economy thread) and they will move ahead sooner. these things will become obvious with time that Europe is falling behind in every metrics including environment like clean water and Air.
Swiss is in decline once you understand these statistics.
