The ones right next door are an outright embarrassment by comparison despite coming from the exact same roots. Crazy how much 50 years of mental colonisation can change a population

Indeed there are many bananas among Singaporean Chinese but it is not all that.

Malaysian Chinese are second class citizens so they fight harder to maintain their identity. Singaporean Chinese run their own country. Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia back then because "too many Chinese" and daring to stand for "every Malaysian citizen is first class citizen". Singapore has about 25% non-Chinese population. For these reasons Singapore is careful to avoid acting too China-aligned.

BS excuse. Malays consist a large part of the minority yet Malaysia is way more pro-China.

I think this is a good thing

Whoever becomes PM will always be America's dog. At least she's vile enough that other countries may find it off putting
I think it's a good thing because whatever allows China to feel less remorse in obliterating them without holding back when the time comes is a good thing.
Making things simple is always good.

Not sure where else to put this but:

1. China accused of helpign Houthis target US assets:

2. China helps Russia target foreign facilities in Ukraine:

3. China plants cyber-mines in NYC telecoms:

What I find interesting is the fact that these 3 stories are all coming out at the same time. Coincidence, or something more?
Do people even care at this point? This sort of China bad news come out so often that actual people (not bots on the dead internet) have become numb to it.

Seems like European Capital and talent is hedging by going directly to China.

This is not hedging, this is their only chance to succeed in robotics.

The fact is Europe in general is way behind in all the frontier new industries, such as green energy, batteries, AI, electric cars, and robotics.

Look at it this way, what is the price of a UniTree humanoid robot? Let's say less that $50000 USD, when any robot from Europe will cost over $100000 USD, it is double or more.

It is rather simple really, sometimes at least, how a company is run. If it takes double the amount of money to build a robot compared to a competitor, then that money spent on expensive parts and labour, was not put into R&D, like the Chinese did, because China had low costs and now have a larger R&D budget.

That is why Huawei wiped the floor with everyone because they had the R&D money, because they were deeply involved in the low cost China supply chain, so they had the sales and the cash.

Those innovative Swiss robotic companies are coming to build their robots in China, and innovate inside China, because they will not survive in this industry doing that anywhere else. The cost disadvantage will erode the foundations of the company in respects to their competitors in China.

The Europeans, still cling to past glory in industry.

The truth today, is I think they do not have a chance.

For example, telecom such as 5G and green energy. They were the leaders and innovators. Look at them today. What happened? China happened.

So now we talking about robotics. If these European robotic companies do not come to China to build their robots ASAP, they will die as a company.

If those telecom and green energy companies got wiped out, when they were leaders, what chance do these newbies have if they do not come China. None. Zero. Nada. The cost advantage is too great to overcome.

:p

Note, if people are interested in fighting on the internet, such as Twitter, then make your rebuttals with facts and be as sarcastic as possible.

Some white racist was complaining about how some people eat rice. The retort there is ask him if he was constipated again. That will get people going!
