Interesting development in Thailand right now

Opposition MFP has said they will support Bumjaithai, who is led by extremely pro-China Anutin, to become Prime Minister.

Red shirts are now saying they will dissolve parliament and call for snap elections.

But final decision whether to dissolve lies in the hands of royalty.

We could be seeing an Anutin PM-ship soon, or new elections

I fear new elections will only benefit the move forward party, which is basically pro US and wants to destroy the Senate.

Is Anutin really pro china? Or as pro china as BB Marcos was supposed to be?

Doesn't matter if he is pro China or not, the deal between his party and opposition party only last 4 months then new election will proceed.

That wasn't enough time to do anything significant especially in Thailand. After that the pro US party would likely come to power with new election that will be in 2026.

If Thailand is ruled by the Move Forward party, I fear it will become like the Philippines, very pro US. Already I suspected that Americans social media in Thailand helped the Move Forward party win a majority of seats. Now they are king makers.

Too bad Thailand cant suppress these pro US parties like Germany or Romania or Moldova suppressing pro Russian parties.

Ironically if you look at the parties policies, it's literally making Thailand more akin to Europe eg. Higher minimum wage, increase unions, limit 40 hrs work weeks, more breaks etc.

But Thailand doesn't have the financial heft or tech or companies to me able to sustain that type of life. It will probably make them less competitive among other ASEAN countries as a whole.

Those parties policies is just a cover. The real goal is never about any of that.

Their goal is to remove the monarchy and increase US/EU influence over Thailand to allow US to use Thailand as spring board for action against Myanmar and support containment of China.

The less immigration on Australia the better it is, less population, less gdp and less problem for China. It will make it easier for China when they eventually take over Australia.

A white english speaking country in the middle of Asia? I don't think its gonna last when China fully dominates.

How are they going to takeover? What type of political system will they implement after the takeover?

Definitely, but that's easier said than done, especially in Thailand

In all these countries, I find that there are always pro US shills that say being to dependent on china is not good but there's never those who say being to dependent on the US is not good, until maybe now that Trump is in power. China still has some ways to go fully influence surrounding countries. I imagine it's due the recent onset and relatively short history of being powerful.
