As I said before, Russia is a sovereign country that has the right and is expected to act in the best interest of its people and the various entities they form. In the case of trucks, they are probably trying to protect Kamaz and Ural, mainly because they also manufacture stuff for the miltary.

China isn't "helping" Russia out of kinship or the kindness in their hearts, they're doing it because it also serves their own interests, whether directly or indirectly. This also doesn't, in principle, give China the right to dictate to Russia what it does with its own market. As far as I know, the relation between the two countries is defined by cooperation, not subordination. If the Chinese government, for some reason, really hates it, they can just stop trading or cooperating with Russia and then deal with the ensuing consequences.
Then treat fairly, this is not fair. Why not ban indian ones as well? Protect Russian one, fine but why treat Chinese enemies like India better?
I think china should go and pressure Russia to give more.

The thing is Russia didn't just doing tariffs like EU did, they use ban on trucks over safety issues? This should be considered disrespectful especially when china had help a lot.
Btw, Russia hasn't ban indian one
India does not sell much engineering products and India is supplicant state. Far more Indian delegations visit Russia than Russian visit India.
you never know who helped them alot. because when the right wing of sunni islam is observing things they will have different criteria.
this much senior journalist with muslim sounding last name written in Russian. already giving hint of banning those expensive cars than Lada. yes they are the richest and they are managing this conflict and they are the role model Putin want society to follow.
where do you think that 2.5m Russian armed forces comes from. perhaps the largest and best equipped in the world with round the clock transport ability to Mideast. that is in addition to moving stuff from East to West.

He is so unfamiliar with the Russian people that he does not understand: the ability to change a car every year is a weak argument for our people. Yes, Russians often drive expensive cars, but they do not sell their souls and their homeland for a car.

See, this sort of article would've done well under the Biden administration, when the US was still paying lip service to the liberal international order. Trump, though, could care less. If anything, he is actively dismantling liberalism.
Which is what makes the whole thing comical and scary at the same time. It confirms to anybody who has ears and has been paying attention that there's a deep state and these politicians are just figureheads. Notice how this comes out when the UN declared a famine in Gaza? It's the "Hey look at China over there!" excuse to divert attention.

Thank you, Zelensky. China hates to be put on the spot, even by Russia.

The original Istanbul agreement already included China as a permanent UN Security Council member for a security guarantor. This isn’t exactly new or China being put in the spotlight. But the French and British as an UN guarantor will be excluded this time around. Tho the US will probably be allowed. The terms currently being offered/discussed is an extension from Istanbul.
