The adviser also said India's close ties with Russia and China made it risky to transfer cutting-edge U.S. military capabilities to India.

Someone made a good point elsewhere.

If the US is hesitant to transfer military technology because India refuses to bend the knee then that puts the F414 engines in limbo. I guess there is a real risk for India that the Tejas might not appear until the 2030s to 2040s. Unless India bends the knee to all MAGA demands.

It's weird. What's happening to India right now should make me proud my predictions are coming true. I can feel like a prophet. Yet I feel no such thing and rather it was an obvious outcome.

I wrote a few weeks back that India's failure in Pakistan was a triggering point that made the west realise it's investment in India was making negative returns. As you know with Jews or capitalists, one of the worst crimes in their view is losing money. As a result, the west will now not hold back on how it really feels on India. A lot of trade deals that take place with India has are said to have clauses where the country must take in xxx number of Indians. It's not a cheap price esp when indians aim for high paying white collar jobs instead of blue dollar. So when you pay such a price and realize your returns are garbage, you probably would be pissed too.

I feel Trump makes it even worse. Biden was never in control and even if he was, he never worked a real job for most of his life. That's why he doesn't say anything when his "allies" are giving poor returns. Trump being a real estate businessman definitely knows when money is being lost and will not hesitate to show how angry he is.
I don't believe it's the war that's making Trump act the way he's acting towards India. He just sees them as a soft target compared to China and he wants to bring them to heel. It's not a coincidence he tried it with all the original BRICS except Russia, he wants to score a big win.

There’s a non-zero chance he hit on JD Vance’s wife thinking that “he’s doing her a favor because she’s so old” but she rebuffed him. Now he’s taking his anger out on the entire country of India to “get back at her”. I think he’s the type of guy that would think like that.

The reason why westiods keep pumping out China collapse theory is because it makes them feel better about themselves. The West's entire culture is based around being the pinnacle of human civilization, the "End of History", Dominant race , etc. So seeing non-westerners succeed is fundamentally offensive to their world view. Even "left" wing westerners can't let go of their chauvinism, and feel the need to lecture or dismiss the "lesser" countries/peoples socialist movements. Until the current global order crumbles, they will remain this way.

Chinese model is antithetical to the Western feudal oligarchy sugar-coated with democracy and "freedom". In fact, many foreign models are antithetical. While China and the rest of the world were (and some still are) recovering from colonial exploitation, the Western model was convincing enough to make most believe that it is the ideal system.

Now, China is making strides unheard of in the West, and it has blown a huge hole in people's perception, people who were previously duped into the "white is might, West is best" propaganda.

The Western model, when exported (and forced), allows for Western domination of the world via corruption (poor countries' elections: Westerners finance the parties that favor them). Neocolonialism. Any system that contradicts this established order is a threat to the existing hegemony and domination status quo.

The coverage of Gaza Genocide also blew multiple holes straight into the Western facade, showing ordinary people that even if they have majority consensus on an issue, their governments simply do not care, as the latter has it's own agenda.

Should've just put a Russian engine and be done with it. One RD-33 would've been enough, about the same output as the F404. Or a more powerful R-29.

Being so close to Pakistan, should have learned easily that everything from the US comes with strings attached / manipulation is guaranteed unless you can provide major value (i.e. w/ Pakistan: Soviet + later NATO Invasion of Afghanistan).

Apparently, it's Peter Navarro who is main driver behind punishing India over Russia oil purchases.

It's literally because an old white racist fart couldn't get his revenge on the Chinese (who fought back hard, Navarro got sideline/ignored), so now this old white racist fart is taking out his anger on on the Indians since they are weaker and likely to be pushovers.

Most of the US foreign policy establishment, diplomats, and think-tanks still want to get Indians as ally, it's literally just one white racist fart who is ruining the relationship, it's hilarious.
