I'm all for making fun of Jai Hind's but this was/is the same argument made against China when it was making its way up the GDP ladder.
When China surpassed Japan's economy in 2010, it was a way more serious and powerful nation than India is today. It had already firmly established itself as the world's factory, already had operational HSR lines, and had hosted the Olympics. Furthermore, Japan's GDP in 2010 was around $5.5T. That means that China had overtaken a Japanese economy that was $1.5T richer than it is today.

The way the Jai Hinds and the Indian government boasts about its economy today, they are asking to be ridiculed.

You know how every allegation against China eventually turns out to be some kind of projection? Their anxieties and wish-wasting will turn out to be the same. Watch and see. I am curious what the relationship between China and the New Republic of California will be come 2032...

Again, let me quote the most meme-able passage from this already highly meme-able piece:
Convincing the new government to abandon CCP goals for global and galactic hegemony
See I told you the whole "inherit the red genes" slogan found at various PLA bases is hinting at a PLA Primarch Project aimed at producing gene seeds that when implanted into regular PLA troops would then them into transhuman super soldiers.

You are forgetting that $4 trillion GDP back then had a much higher value compared to today's $4 trillion due to inflation. Japan also had 5 trillion dollar economy back then not 4 trillion but 5.4 trillion when China passed it in 2010. Japan has gotten extremely poorer in the last 30 years.

4 trillion back then will be worth 6 trillion now. So, India needs to increase by another 50% before they even reach China's level of 2010.

Some choice quotes:

"The Salt Typhoon attack was able to secure such wide-ranging access in part because of the fundamental asymmetry between the authoritarian approach Beijing takes to its cyberdefense and Washington’s more democratic perspective. American values forbid the kind of comprehensive monitoring that undergirds China’s cyberdefense and frees Beijing to pursue offensive operations with less fear of retaliation. And myriad private actors manage the United States’ critical infrastructure, with minimal government oversight or hands-on assistance. Their levels of investment in cybersecurity are variable, driven by commercial bottom lines. That means that when cyberattackers are found, it is hard to prove that they have been removed from networks or systems. Even when their removal appears certain, it is likely they will return."

My sides... The appratachiks who sit in offices and write those kind of drivel are living in an alternate reality.

And just as an addendum.

The apparatchik for the piece, Anne Neuberger, is a Hasidic Jew. The US establishment is hopelessly captured by the Jewish lobby. I also wonder if Neuberger and her family have any holdings in Palo Alto or Crowdstrike. It sounds less and less like any serious policy discussion (because you don't need any serious policy discussion in Washington DC these days - it boils down to 'China bad, updoots to the left') and more like an attempt to drive up the market caps of certain holdings.

Lindsay. You're a soft old white single man with anger issues, no children, a low-T voice, and a romantic gaze at whichever male officer happens to be speaking in front of you. God has already pulled the plug on you. Now Trump is pulling the plug on America because China crossed the wires so it looks to him like that's China's plug he's pulling.
