I doubt China wants to do something that may give a public appearance of direct support. More likely going to be similar with Russia. Behind closed doors.

Those Y-20s would be there to "replenish Pakistani defenses in face of ongoing Indian aggression."
This is a bit of a case of the more Iran can absorb and destroy of the US the less there will be for China and Russia.
The reverse also counts the more Russia and China can squeeze the US the lesser the US can use on Iran.
Seems like a cheap way to drain the US of resources the Iranians can endure and fight. I don't think their pride will allow others to fight and bleed for them.
Tel Aviv is the de facto capital of Israel. The capital was only moved officially to Jerusalem recently. Most institutions are still in Tel Aviv. Haifa is also pretty important.
China could do like the US did to Ukraine and send Iran small arms like MANPADS. Or something like radio equipment. Since they seem to be getting their communications hacked.
China could also help with recon and intelligence.

Since the US is on the brink of war with Iran, has there been any analysis or commentary about how the recent rare earth restrictions from China could affect the US military if they go to war with Iran? I would think they would suffer logistical issues but I haven't found any articles talking about this topic (specifically talking about this in an Iran war scenario that is)

If the US ends up not attacking Iran directly, perhaps that will have been one of the considerations that led to their restraint.
SpaceX and fanboys will still call this a huge success as usual because "We collected data". But when something happens to a Chinese rocket, western media and public starts acting like it's the end of the world.
