I would expect alot of cargo shipment arrived at Turkmenistan. After that, it will be delivered to Iran by cargo train or trucks.

Israel keeps bombing Iran's airport so it isn't safe to land there.

China does have a railway link to Iran, which officially opened less than a month ago with travel time being 15 days. The Caspian Sea via the Russians could also be potentially used for larger quantities.

But time is of the essence. If China is shipping stuff then Iran needs it as soon as possible. Not an month later.

I think all airport will get bombed. Therefore, China can land its cargo plane like Y20 at ashgabat, then have semitrailer drivers to deliver them to Iran. The missile and drones can then be launched at the eastern or south east part of Iran. Tehran is no longer safe.

maybe not the whole missile. Iran needs explosive raw material, chips and parts tho.

China will never send anything to Iran for the same reason China hasnt been helping Russia or Hoithis, and no amount of evidence showing Chinese gear being used by either will change that determination :)

Practically if you can get missiles to Houthis surronded on all sides by US bases, you can gst them to Iran

The usual maritime routes is more risky. There are no NATO, US, or European warships sailing in the Caspian Sea. No one is going to seize the ship and the cargo since it would be a Russian ship. Unless Azerbaijan wants to push their luck by boarding and seizing a Russian cargo ship.

The stuff leaving China isn’t gear and equipment. It is material, components, and resources, which is what Iran will need. Besides, they don’t have any experiences or capabilities to operate Russian or Chinese military equipment.

But wouldn't shipping via Pakistan avoid maritime routes as well? China shares a land border with Pakistan, and Pakistan shares a land border with Iran. Also shipping via Pakistan provides full credible deniability.
