It's also not in China's interest for Iran to build a nuke

If Iran really legit go to that route, don't be surprised if it turns a blind eye to a full US attack against it.

It's imperative that Iran doesn't build a nuke as it would destabilized the entire Middle East and consequences would then flow to Asia as well (think S.Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia etc).

If you look at the map, the next target is Pakistan. That will provide US with a back corridor entering West of China.

If that is the case, India will definitely want to annex Pakistan. India will team up with the US.

Of course, China and Pakistan will team up vs India and US. This is how the events will play out.

That’s the infuriating part. They don’t have the ability to build a nuke but kept on boasting about it Jai Hind style, so now they are getting clobbered Saddam Hussein style and coping BJP style.

Iran thought were a pole, but they are just now realizing only pole-related thing they are going to do is pole-dancing while beaten up by any random client out there



Thus, first mistake was thinking they were a pole (delusional, theocratic government and delusions, what a surprise lol)

Second mistake, due to racism, they ignored China and turned towards Russia/US to fulfill their racial fantasies


So two lessons for new countries out there. First, don't be religious and delusional. Second, don't be racist. Simple

I think it's clear the Iranians want Chinese investment if they're begging at the NDRC. Is there too much corruption, money laundering and risk of doing business in Iran? For sure. I don't think Iran feels entitled to Chinese military aid, but would like to be allowed to pay money to buy what China is offering to countries like Saudi Arabia. When your enemies are sanctioning and embargoing you that's one thing. When your supposed friends join in the sanctions, that's worse. My impression is that China is refusing to sell fighter jets to Iran because it wants to sell even more to the Arabs. That's fair enough. But obviously people in Iran aren't going to be happy about China preferring US allies over them. That shouldn't be surprising

I just read the article. Do you seriously believe with the amount of state control China has over it's economy that China would have trouble muscling it's so called "teapot refineries"? Obviously China turned a blind eye to give Iran a lifeline, you dare to use it as an example of China caving in to the west?

As to the lack of investments, didn't China wanted to invest in Iran's Chabahar port yet Iran granted the contract to India? The optic is Iran tried to appease the west by dropping China, because the abandonment of the investment plan coincide with Iran's reformist faction came in power and tried their best to please the west. Regardless of China's attitude, I don't think anyone can deny how hard the liberal faction loves the west. Even now your liberal politicians want to negotiate with the west out of this mess.

Don't blame everything on politicians lying, they lie to please the voters, they won't say certain things if they don't think it will resonate with the people. Obviously they believed bashing China is popular with the voters.

I'm tired of the back and forth, if you're not admitting it now you never will. Fact is a lot of Iranians loooooooooves the USA no matter how many times they're humiliated by Americans, a lot as in over half of them. This is only way you can explain the popularity poll you failed to explain, you keep avoiding this point only makes you look dishonest

Its not in China's interest for Israel to have a nuke, you talk as though China need a country to be fully cooperative to advance its interest.

Iran should be more cooperative with China, but at end of the day its the west and Israel that ls China's enemy
