LMAO tweet of the day: China has great vocational training because of Apple.
Apple has 7X the asset value in the US compared to China, the place with all the factories? How does that work? Is it primarily comprised of "good will" line items like intellectual property, assumed appreciated valuations of companies they've acquired and patents that could have its value completely wiped out at any given moment or money they've squirrelled away in banks or accounts receivable balances from Americans who are debt ridden and finance an iPhone for 2 or more years now? I'm too lazy to actually look at their balance sheet breakdown in their financial notes.

Its a funny thing, anybody who's a resident of California would know the wave of Chinese that arrived around the 2000-2015 timeframe, mostly consisted of two types. 1. Millionaires who needed a place to park their money. 2. Educated professionals starting families and boiling their entire life in the West down to one and only one purpose, getting their kids into an Ivy League school. I wonder how the latter feels now with all of Trump's assaults on education that their bet has essentially gone bust?

Its not something you can fix with a new administration. Germany in the late 1800s to early 1900s was the place to study math and science, not just in Europe but the whole world. After a series of unfortunate decisions made by their political leaders, today German universities are mostly just good enough technical colleges, while the mantle of true higher education passed onto the Anglosphere and Switzerland. Imagine removing yourself from your homeland to an unfamiliar climate, for the sake of your child's education, and all that awaits their hardwork, is a just good enough technical college.

Apple don’t own any factories. They outsourced manufacturing to Foxconn, Flextronic, BYD, etc.

I had this same weird feeling long ago about Louis Vuitton purses,Prada,Hermes etc as so many of my female family members are obsessed with owning them and these companies don't seem to have factories in France,Italy etc and offer tours to exuberant female fans in said factories ....instead the tariff induced truth about these companies outsourcing to China has exploded their myth.

You know how recommendation algorithm works in most if not all social media platforms? If you search Trump, more Trump related contents will be pushed to you because the platforms take your searching as you are interested in Trump. If you watch the contents for longer time, it "means" that you want more. In a few clicks you will be drowned in sea of Trump contents and you will believe that everyone is Trump lovers. It is a vicious circle.

Well, you can use echo chamber to explain many cases. That's true.

But you can't explain one thing with that. That's marketing/propaganda war between tech giants, which it's REAL & COMMON & INTENSE. Every Chinese netizen knows that.

Whenever any news comes out from Huawei or Xiaomi, no matter it's positive or negative, the bullet comment & normal comment section immediately become battle field of trolls. The situation suits almost any video, including MSM report video (MSM has more censorship), as long as it's related to these two companies. I'm sure it has nothing to do with echo chamber. It's a universal fact, difinitely not few cases.

The trolls' battle is the most intense between Huawei vs Xiaomi, but it's also expanded to Huawei vs Nvidia, CNSA vs SpaceX, etc. Battle fields are mostly large Chinese social platforms, especillay Douyin and Weibo. Douyin has the least censorship on bullet comments, so...

I'll give everyone some typical comments of trolls.
Under videos about Huawei new PC: 阿里郎电脑;价格遥遥领先 (Very limited app ecosystem but with far ahead product prices)
Under videos about Xiaomi new Chip/Car: 累总累了;花一天时间字研出高通芯片 (CEO Lei is too tired to deal with problems; Developed a Qualcomm chip in one day) (Context: Many suspect Xiaomi, who overhyped its deep tech, has very weak R&D capacity, with too much problems found in its latest Car SU7; Also suspect its phones are just fully assembled from foreign parts)
Under videos about Nvidia new chips: 我用华为三折叠,我骄傲了吗 (Am I proud of using Huawei tri-fold phones?)
Under videos about SpaceX starship flight: 不需要练五百年的按钮发射技巧吗?(Not need to practise how to press a button for 500 years?) (Context: CCTV reports, a CNSA engineer pactised tens of thousands of times on pressing the rocket launch button.)

We should admit there are indeed remaining problems in some Chinese products due to sactions or other reasons. In some areas, US is still way ahead, like chips & space launch. Some Chinese products with not-that-best perfermance & not-that-practical functions, but are hypered too much in the Chinese Internet. Also many claim that not buying indigenous products = impatriotics, which are causing more and more counterfires.

China is speeding fast. But nothing is easy to achieve.

I noticed Germans are very good short term but not really great long term for some reasons. Always missing the forest due to trees.

That’s because the western financial market is basically one giant casino run by Washington elites. There is no way to reason or logic your way past institutionalised insider trading and arbitrary valuations and rules.

Just like with a casino, you can win in the short term, but in the end the house always wins. It’s a feature, not a bug.

What they hell are you blabbering about?
These types of comments are all over the internet, doesn’t matter if it’s in China or the west. I read even worse comments pertaining to Apple and Google and Nvidia on YouTube, TikTok, insta and Twitter.
i can guarantee you most people don’t care for these comments at all.
