But it's crazy that this man had wanted to run for re-election that he had to ultimately be forced to forego - due to his immense unpopularity.
Imagine, if he'd won the Presidency against Trump for the 2nd time, we'd have Kamala as the incoming new President.
dude supplied Netanyahu with the bombs that turned dozens of thousands of Gaza's children into burning minced meat and provided political cover for the genocide. Joe Biden is a maniac who makes Jeffrey Dahmer look like a saint. cancer & dying of old age is an easy way out for him considering we all eventually die of age at some point.
so it is unfortunate in the sense that he won't get the punishment that he deserves.
Nobody recovers from metastatic cancer. The best one can hope for is to stall it long enough that one dies from some other reason.
To be fair many decisions were not made by him personally. Sullivan and Blinken were running his policies and got him to sign off on a lot of decisions without even reading them.
what about gene therapy? I remeber one of my colleagues talked about how one of his friends' mom got cancer but she was treated with gene therapy (from China) and that the treatment cost only few hundred dollars every month.
“Gene therapy” is an unspecific term. You would need to give more information about the therapy and the kind of cancer.
For solid tumor cancers though, there is always that lurking risk of recurrence from microscopic seeding. Even when it might be in remission, one can never be sure it is entirely gone. That is why the literature talks of recurrence rates or 5 year/10 year survival rates.
back at that time he didn't tell me any specifics. just that they took samples from her to give her medication specifically for her. what the F kind of "gene therapy" is it I have no idea.
This reminds me of a video I recently watched about a person describing his prison experience in China, it doesn't sound as bad as the Australian guy is describing it as but there could be differences in treatment depending on the prison/detention center. Note that it seems like he went to juvenile prison so there might be more leniency involved as well.
