That's fair. Though I will say it is exceedingly rare to see a civilian, who isn't former American military, employ the term "behove" as OP did.

Manchus were absolutely slaughtered in the Southern parts of China. The Manchu conclaves and fortresses (满城） were all flattened by the Revolutionaries and their inhabitants driven out or killed. Of course it was done in the heat of the revolution and it was spontaneous and not carried out by a state actor as we understand it today, but the fact is a lot of Manchus were killed when the Qing was overthrown.

I don't want to blow your horn but you're a treasure/gem to read because you have the intellectual heft, discipline, ethics, and genuine interest to post well-researched, and very well argued presentation.
