Each other? But why would they, both have more USD. Europe? But they get paid USD to not trade with China too. Russia? But they're sanctioned. Saudi Arabia? OK, they get more oil but then the oil price rises to a new equilibrium while during the rise, cheap oil destroys their EV industry so they'll forever be behind China.

Well, my worries have come to pass, Far Right Koreans have begun to take their anger out on the Chinese community over Yoon's impeachment, although thankfully the prediction there would be violence hasn't metastasized just yet.

I think one of the comments alluded to the fact that the place the Koreans were intimidating is an actual Chinese-Chinese neighborhood and they didn't bother to go to a Joseonjeok neighborhood, mostly I presume due to the reputation of those neighborhoods for having a lot of organized crime gangs.
I don't follow Korean news that much, so I don't know how bad the situation could escalate. But I do hope a contigency plan could be put in place should things get out of hand and we get a repeat of 1990s Jakarta.
