Some MAGA suggest the dam can't defend GBU-57, which is called bunker buster, capable of penetrating 200 ft (61 m) of reinforced concrete or soil. They're going to use multiple GBU bombs to do the work. Is that possible? o_O
I asked grok and it said it would be a superficial wound, akin to a pinprick on an elephant. Americans also said they could use patriot missiles so I asked Grok and it said they are literally using the wrong weapon here.

I don't understand where their confidence in ignorance comes from honestly. Hasn't Russia blowing up their abrams shown their weapons aren't alientech? They are behaving a lot like Jai Hinds who at least have a better excuse than them for ignorance.

This is why war by force is the ultimate decider. All your boasting means shit. Only victory on the battlefield matters.

X/twitter has become more of click bait since they started to monetize views. Besides govt/political bots, there are people especially in low-wage countries posting extreme views since they know it will make them $.

Reposted from the China Economics Thread.

An essay from Kurt Campbell, deputy Secretary of State under the Biden Administration.

The essay disputes some of the points of the China decline crowd (demographics, nominal GDP ratio between US and China), and offers some strategies for the US to compete with China, namely, empowering allies in terms of security, capacity building, and a common regulatory and tariff regime.

Correct takes from the US perspective on this Grand Game.

I find it somewhat ironic that the steps Campbell offered is also quite congruent with the ending of US hegemony. I wonder if the irony is apparentn to the author.

日耳曼人赢学 or the Germanic Victory Theory will explain the mindsets of the Twitter users.

To them, America won the Cold War and the first Gulf War. Since America is God's chosen land, America can only win. If reality doesn't agree with the fact that the US is winning, then they will just warp reality in such a way that the US is winning.

M1s being blown up? Must be Ukraine's fault. A US crewed M1 will never suffer damage and isn't allowed to suffer damage in the Germanic Theory framework.

Attack on the Three Gorges? Well there was the whole dambuster operation in WW2, and we won WW2, so all dams are easy pickings. Never mind that it was the Brits who conducted the Operation, and never mind the sheer difference in scale between the dams in the Ruhr and the Three Gorges.

The maga crowd and all believers in the Germanic Victory Theory lack the ability to perceive reality. Seeing, but never perceiving. Lest they be saved.

Ah yes, I remember the hilarious reaction when they found out Inevitable West was an Indian crypto scammer.

Its for this reason I am slowly reducing my time on Twitter. I mean whats the point? Its all going to be garbage posted by people who are not even american or westoid but from some poor country doing it to get money. Imagine wasting all your time seeing all this posts and you found out none of it was real and these posters were all just people operating from those Thai Scam centers.

The internet really slowly is becoming a dump. I guess China was ahead of the curve creating the internet firewall. Trump should have taken notes.

I used to look at big websites and I wondered how could they die? Turns out being flooded with the wrong type of users does the job well.
