Man they got to Asmongold, what does the CIA has on his dirty ass. They gave a big warning shot with that 2 week twitch ban, now he's reacting to ChinaObserver channel....
He has always been like that, he is not really about being informed or not, he reacts to videos and the info presented and many of his viewer recommended the channel, if purely based on the info presented in the video he isn’t wrong per se.
Plus the western media is constantly negative about China and because he is anti-woke so a lot of his subs are also either Trump supporters or at least US no.1 types, so it’s not really surprising. But if presented with info to the contrary he would have a fairer view.
That ChinaObserver channel sometimes comes into my feed. I am curious, where do they get all those interviews from? Are they paid actors or is it just a case of in a country of 1.4bn and 60m companies there will always be the unlucky cases of failures?
There are plenty of channels like ChinaObserver, I used to watch it too for a counter point but then noticed inconsistencies, they don’t care about facts or nuances only that the info they find support their views or narratives.
Also notice how most of the video about closures are garment factories, frankly they haven’t been doing well for long time now. It’s one of those industries where the cost of heavy automation don’t really make sense, unless you are building a brand and not OEM-ing, due to low margins and with increasing wages, China hasn’t been a great place for garment since before the pandemic.
It shouldn't be so hard to find tons of footage of people that got struct by untimely outside factors. And then blaming the government is an excellent coping mechanism. You can find tons of it on western social media, like during the rednote gate at the start of this year.
But i wouldn't be surprised if they used Mainland liberals, Taiwanese and Hongkong actors as well.
Honestly, I don’t think they need to find actors, the closures or business interruptions in many cases are probably real, the issue is that the OEM factories were probably targeting specific clients with big orders and when that stops, it’s obvious what would happen.
This is most likely just some factories that didn’t diversify their clientele. Also with the sheer number of factories in China there is no way some wouldn’t close because of these disruptions. Plus these channels have a habit of finding old videos and claim them to be current. It has happen before.
