Silicon Valley has imbibed this concept wholeheartedly- selling "get rich quick" tickets, the charlatans' cults of personality, and wunderkund panaceas to worldly ills. They export these 'gold rushes' instead of actual products. Whether it be for a startup or a cryptocoin, : essentially, ditch the flaming mess you've made and escape to Peter Thiel island with a bucket of money. Easiest to profit off of are the desperate poors flocking to America for this promised salvation. Remember the way the first Chinese migrants were pressed into indentured servitude all over the Americas?

Hmmm, Trump definite made changes alright, managed to ensure that no more talent will go to the USA in the near future. I mean why bother with a system as hateful and xenophobic as this. So everything points to the whole 500b as a scam. They don’t even have 100b that they said they already have. Also where does OpenAI even come up with 20b when they don’t even make profit? The red flags on this whole thing is so insane lol

Came across this news two weeks ago. I think they might drop the wall for those special economic zones, but I'm thinking its mostly businesses. Those businesses can afford a VPN or direct line to outside internet anyways though. I don't think this is related to the opening up from the very top imo. This is just the usual news of Shanghai legislators wanting to be special in China.
