The US knows how to make a dictatorship into a democracy in disguise. I’m always reading how the citizens in Asian countries that are democratic allies of the US hate the parties in power that the US favors. The parties in power are not favored by the people but somehow the pro-US ones always win. It’s because they’re getting tips from the US on how to circumvent “democracy” in their favor.

Not really, if US is going to Iran, that means nearly all their active forces will be there. It's not possible to untangle naval and air assets from the Iran battlefield in the mere week or so it takes for China to smash most major cities and the Philippines military. Or even stop a PLAN landing.
Pundits have floated the idea of voiding article 5 by oreshniking somewhere in Europe, but this is possibly too emotional for US still at this stage because Europe has the white nations they care about. On the other hand, the Philippines are "lower caste" and not part of NATO, so less emotionally sensitive.
Conventional strategy teaches that when facing a near peer force, you should not seek to wholly surround them but leave a road open so you can slaughter them as they retreat to safety. US is not so inferior in raw power that China can just shut them off and they won't advance at all (that's maybe India).
The fact most US military items from the most cheap garbage like skydio drones to elite equipment like F-22s and B-21s has heavily declined in both production and affordability is a proof that China's progressive step up sanctions work. At least a bit.
