The elites basically insulted the average American and called them stupid and useless. Not surprising considering that they always had contempt for the common people. Nowadays they just don’t even bother masking it.

Ultimately they have a level of self-unawareness that blows my mind. Like even an illiterate guy in the most backward part of say Africa would still have more awareness based on his instinct. He would know when there is a danger and when to back off.
