They like to boast about Nadella improving Microsoft stock price but Azure which is one of the most important things to Microsoft came from Ballmer's time. In fact there is an effort to crap over Ballmer's reign but a lot of stuff that benefitted came much later after he resigned and Nadella simply was there to take credit for it. Nadella was also there when cloud computing became big which meant most tech firms went up in stock price and not just Microsoft.
And then there's the actual product itself which is godawful these days. There are literally ads in outlook now. And a lot of windows features don't even work properly anymore. Speaking of which forget about Microsoft support ever giving you a coherent answer that solves your problem.
It is very typical for Indians in the workplace to claim credit for stuff they didn't do and push the actual guy to the sidelines.
