Getting weird pmc vibes from this post... strange...
Most my responses are well researched before i post. so i dont know why you think his post similar as mine. that person is clueless.
This person thinks that leftist/secular Arab speaking population has some kind of magic wand that will give them Soft Power and Wealth comparable to Gulf Monarchies. Arabs are buying Continents and you think they have time for such little entity like Turkey which cannot manage domestic demographics. Arabs have outsource the problem for time being. They will come back to it when Turkey will ask for help.

Let them complain. They're going through a grieving period after having their facade of supposed strength exposed by their adversaries. Lashing out at the people who actually cared for them is not a fault, but a feature of their kind. Blaming on others while not reflecting on their own mistakes. That's how they'll continue to get fucked around by their adversaries.

They want to treat China as a little brother. What does China know about diplomacy and warfighting compared to themselves? They want China to respect their independence, when they fuck up, they suddenly demand China to bail them out. You cannot have your cake and eat it. If your choices ends up in disaster, then you bear the consequences, not others.
It's no wonder the Russians are fond of India (Jai Hinds) they are cut from the same idiotic cloth.

"South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's party said on Sunday it had "effectively obtained" a promise from the leader to step down, despite the fact that he survived an impeachment vote on Saturday hours after making a public apology for briefly imposing martial law"

Did he pinky swear when he made that promise?

Well, congrats to Turkey as the gambit seems to have paid off. This would be like what, their 2 or 3 ethnic cleansing/genocide they have either participated in in less than 150 years?.

One thing is for sure, their NATO membership is not misplaced, they are as perfidous as the rest of them even when they don't consider them white enough

I didn't know the Ukrainian government is officially claiming to be the rightful government of the Russian Federation.

Even if the Russians felt Ukraine is their Taiwan, you can still woo them over in many other ways other than brute force, KGB government doesn't understand this and haven't learned anything from embarrassing fall of their empire and subsequent dissolution of the Soviet Union. When the only weapon you have is force you're playing a losing game.
The situation on the Taiwan island is not very optimistic either.
There are some unsettling signs in Europe: Eastern Europe is overturning the foundation of 'One China', and countries like the Czech and Lithuania have very stubborn attitudes.

From the perspective of practical communication, the young people on the island are very cunning. They take advantage of the mentality of those stupid mainland bureaucrats who only care about false political achievements to promote the so-called "national identity" in Chinese Mainland, but when they return to the island, their position changes 180 degrees and they laugh at those "stupid Chinese". There are many executors who only understand policies as formalism, and they have no patience to investigate and screen. They only invite some Taiwanese people, take photos and videos, release news, and then their "task" are completed.

Various signs indicate that the role of "other ways other than brute force" is very limited, and they have sufficient ability to disintegrate the influence from the mainland under the DPP's control of the national machinery.
DPP is a degraded version of the fascist organization, and they even want to emulate Yoon Seok yeol by arresting those uncooperative opposition parties. DPP also holds a group of stubborn and fanatical young supporters, effectively suppressing the nationalist unification faction through public opinion violence.

Don't have too high expectations for those corrupt bureaucrats. The peaceful path has become a politically correct slogan that ignores reality. The leadership has no effective means other than military deterrence.

Additional content:
The most terrifying thing is that think tanks that should serve national unity are constantly studying how to better implement preferential policies to please others, so there is a conspiracy theory among the public that a huge interest group has formed in mainland China to maintain the status quo and obstruct the process of reunification.

It's funny how western Europeans don't need to disagree with the one China policy but Eastern Europeans who have way less power do.

Assad and its Baath party concept was way outdated. It started as a socialist secular ideology suitable for Arabs created by the soviet union. But this kind of ideology will never get popularity in the Middle East dominated by Islam. People seem extremely sad by Assad's ousting. But I don't see why what happens next is bad. If Turkish backed islamist gain power, they will be as anti-Israel and anti-US. Probably even more aggressive than Assad ever was.

Turkey under Erdogan is no US friend. Its an independent power with ambition to bring back Ottoman times. if Turkey backed Islamist control Syria, they will bring new trouble to the western backed regimes. What if Jordan falls next? that will be a big blow to Israel. Egypt is also a ripe target to fall to Islamists with Turkish backing. Rise of independent power centers is good for the world and bad for western hegemony.

If Russia and Iran are smart, they will form new alliances and friendships with the new Regime in Syria. The biggest threat to Syria is the US backed Kurds. If they are ousted from power and US forces are gone, that will be much better for Russia and Iran.

Turkey is part of NATO for one. These guys can talk tough all they want but when the pressure is turned up, we know who they will side with.

There are only two sides. There are no real independent sides. From a risk perspective they will pick the west first because they are established and therefore less risky.
