Re-activating ISIS and opening a new Syria front isn't that surprising given NATO's collapsing forces in Ukraine and the hole Israel is in.
We'll see how these guys do this time against a Russia with a massively ramped up military industrial complex and years of experience fighting much better NATO equipment head on.
One thing is for sure, if ISIS fail they won't get to fall back to Idlib and ask for ceasefire, the problem will be solved in totality this time.
Considering the west still pretend they're not Al-Qaeda / ISIS allies this also provide an interesting vector for China to openly arm Russia.
I think otherwise. I believe Syria and the surrounding region is in deep shit this time.

There's nothing special about either Arab or Jews.
Saudis and Jews are just getting boners after getting a state of their own to rule after thousands of years. Jews were stateless for 2000+ years, and Arabs were ruled by Turks, Kurds, and Persians since the 10th century. Jai Hinds are in the same boat, getting superpower boners - ruling independently for the first time in some 1100 years. A thousand years in subjugation is bound to make you delusional.

This time Al-Qaeda/ISIS is fighting SDF and Kurds while Syrian Army fell back with minimal loses, all while Russia bombs them with impunity from the air using battle optimized weapons from Ukraine, so that's different from last time when Syrian Army had to fight SDF+Kurds+ISIS at the same time and Russia hasn't fought anyone for years.

Putting new pieces into play comes with the risk that you could lose that piece, and then some.

"B-b-but that still counts as our GDP! We still have by far the biggest and most powerful economy in the world! Muricaaaa!"

If I wanted to be generous to the Americans, I would liken these OF thots to the courtesans of the Tang Dynasty who similarly amassed an army of admirers; the only difference is that Tang dynasty courtesans didn’t show ”bobs and vagene” for $5.99/month and didn’t necessarily sleep with clients.

The worrisome part is that there's still so many Syrians in love with fanaticism, Assad was not able to fix his population during the time of peace. What hope is there for the future?

I do think it's good that kurds are being fucked, they're the no1 US and Israel proxy, while ISIS is thoroughly a turk project. Russia needs to get rid of kurds from Syria's oil, that way, NATO will no longer have access to that particular oil source, worsening Europe's prospects further.

I'm almost for China to help here. We finally have the excuse to intervene to delete US occupied oilfields. If you just let HTS and ISIS run over Kurdistan first, you can then go in and fuck everything up from the air, under the pretext of fighting ISIS. Plus the whole global population will consider China a hero for fighting ISIS, nobody likes them, not even US bots (they're instructed to give them a brief support limelight now, but will have to stop once US regular society catches on). ISIS has primitive tactics that will allow Russian and Chinese firepower to slaughter them en masse, making our fighting forces seem more competent and giving them a positive reputation.

Assad just needs to make a call.

Turkey's ambition can, as you say, risk lead a backlash into a ruin of US grand strategy.

Who the hell are these guys? Towering figures? Lol. Ispahani was ambassador to US. Other two are unknown. The actual towering figures, Jinnah, Bogra, Suhrawardy clearly didn't show up to the welcoming.
They may not consider agents as towering figures. Remember Saudis policies decades before World War 2 of completely bypassing Europeans and there preference for Japanese in business.
see this picture .from i think 1953 Queen cornation. that tall Saudi prince standing behind a short Japanese prince. Saudi was actually supposed to stand in front but since the person was Japanese he choose to stand behind.

I still haven't received a proper answer to the question of why Arabs were so weak to prevent a nonsense fracturing of the state. UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Saudis.. all Arabs, same culture, same religion, same language, same values, yet... smashed and broken up the British.
your question is silly to put it mildly. Saudis shake continents and sent Soviet communism into dust bin and you think they cannot force these small countries into one Unit. They just want to show there Soft Power and respect for these Royal families. otherwise Yemen example is right there and Saudi military intervention without regime change in Bahrain.
Saudis can easily overun Syria as that country is Baathist/Communist and Leftist supported (shia) but they have certain regard for Russian muslims thats why they want they solved this problem eventually.

If Syrians are that vulnerable they wouldn't have survived the combined assault of ISIS, SDF and Kurds, 8 years wasn't that long ago.

Allowing the war to freeze was clearly a mistake, which informs Ukraine's future as well, but now that everything's put into play again, it's both a crisis and an opportunity since the war was never frozen in a satisfactory state.

China is already helping Russia to an extent that "North Korea" is able to outproduce the collective west, so while I wouldn't rule out China using Syria as an excuse to provide Russia with attack drones, I think a lot of people are forgetting that compared to NATO armed, manned and supplied Ukraine, ISIS is very much not the same calibre if Russia cares enough to clean up Syria for good.

People are melting down everywhere because of Romania's first round election.

Lots of screaming for TikTok to be banned because they couldn't understand how the pro-Putin Independent candidate with 6% of the polling came first and got over two million votes with nearly no campaign presence outside of TikTok and WhatsApp. Nobody saw it coming.

Ruling party is currently in third place despite their polling and will probably not come back for the runoff election.

They are going to cancel the Romania election results and redo it lmao.
