The use of Taiwanese and Asian seems like some weird American censorship to avoid the use of “Chinese”. It’s not like other Asians speak Chinese or have a great degree of listening intelligibility.
If they avoid using the word Chinese in lawsuits, that's fine by me.

US can't and won't ever actually emulate China's economic model, because they don't know what China's model actually is, what they want is to implement what they claim China does when they cope with China's success, to actually emulate China's model require acknwoledge China's model is better and that's a thought crime.
e.g. instead of investing in education, Biden opened the border to import massive number of cheap labour because they use "China has cheap labour" to cope with China's higher skilled workforce, which then lead to Boeing's quality collapse as they hired minimum wage workers to assemble aircraft.
And instead of investing in infrastructure, R&D and encouraging brutal competition, they want to just give out massive cash handout to select businesses (who also happen to be well connected to officials), because they've been coping with claims that Chinese companies has a cost advantage due to subsidies, which will just lead to more share buybacks and inflation
The article even acknowledged those handouts will cause inflation, but instead of questioning why China doesn't suffer from inflation, they use another cope, that China's devalues currency, as a way to justify how USD should also be devalued.
At end of the day Americans are just too dumb.

I'm still not getting the Rubio hype. He talks tough and passes laws on behalf of others, but at the end of the day , Pelosi was actively involved in person while Rubio wasn't.
Having Rubio as secretary of state isn't ideal for China but is it worst than Pompeo? What people leave out is that Rubio is much more interested in fighting the "commies" back in latin america because of his cuban-anti-castro complex. There likely model which is still concerning (also as part of China containment strategy) is to regime change countries like brazil / mexico to some right wing usa vassal government.
