Good thing Elon's mom likes China, maybe she stayed in China for a while to get use to China. Just in case their whole family has to seek refuge in China.
Mathematically its impossible for Trump to lose a fair election, because:Election betting odds put Trump victory at 63%.
I can't tell if it's real or just whales. Guess they think that Puerto Rico story was a nothingburger.
You act as if there's no evidence of simultaneously developing productive forces and supporting proxies abroad. Deng was happy to arm and fund communist movements in SEA until Vietnam requested that he stop in 1988. Not to mention by opening up the markets Deng let in foreign influence, corruption, and temptation just like how you lambasted the Soviets for. So is economic liberalization a poison pill or not? Pick a lane and stay in it.And you're pissing into that same ocean too. With your emotional outbursts about the West, Israel, and China.
Go read some actual history and study some real life application of communism. Your understanding of communism and modern Chinese history is so immature.
Mao acted with aggression for national security, not communism. China in the 1950s to the 1960s was not yet fully secured. Wars are blowing up around China's periphery. The borders with China's neighbours were not yet settled. Back then China didn't have comprehensive national power, both in the military and the economy. The nation was still in a vulnerable state. So the practical way to keep China together under threat from many directions was through measured aggression. Yes, Mao was a militant communist. Communism was a global movement at that time. Yet the story of global communism during the Cold War was far from a successful one. But at some point, Mao got carried away with his militant communism and made costly mistakes with the Chinese economy.
The CPC starting under Deng Xiaoping had admitted that you cannot create communism if the productive forces could not give the average citizens a decent life. They were right, the Soviets were excessively militant. They were spreading the gospel of communism, and providing military aid abroad. Despite the great Soviet military power, their citizens grew weary over a stagnant standard of living and started getting influenced by the temptations of the West. Then the rest is history. In trying to becoming the second global policeman for the communist world, the Soviets have stretched themselves thin to the point of collapse.
And how long do you think the current circumstances will last? A rational opponent will do anything to sway China's friends to their side. Unfortunately for China, it imposes a handicap on itself that forbids the underhanded tactics its adversary uses to great effect. War, hot or cold, is neither clean nor fair. Why become yet another world policeman when you can become the world's factory? A shopkeeper will always win more friends than a policeman. You can never solve all of the world's problems, and it is frankly a thankless job. You help where you can and that's it. Don't try to get involved in the internal affairs of other nations. Or you'll just get dragged into other people's mess, while earning yourself more enemies. China's way of leadership today is to lead by example. No need to act like yet another imperial country, beating others into conforming to your communist ideology. If other countries don't want to learn from China's success, then that's their own problem.

Your history is a bit dubious when you wrote and claim that it was Vietnam ( a country that Deng hated and went to was against for its arrogance) "requested" for China to arm and fund the communist movement in SEA when the requester is also a militant communist country. It was the country of Singapore, under the behest of its visionary leader, LKY that implored China to suspend and stop the funding and arming of communist movements in SEA.You act as if there's no evidence of simultaneously developing productive forces and supporting proxies abroad. Deng was happy to arm and fund communist movements in SEA until Vietnam requested that he stop in 1988. EDIT: Also "friends" is a laughable concept. How many of China's "friends" are gonna stick their necks out for China when shit hits the fan? How many "friends" will stay in China's sphere if the US and EU pull their heads out of their asses and present a better deal than China's. Never forget that Russia was trying to normalize ties with Europe before this entire Ukraine fiasco. The only "friends" you can truly count on are those you can leverage and control.
Mathematically its impossible for Trump to lose a fair election, because:
- Nobody who voted for Trump in 2020 will vote for Harris
- Anyone who voted for Trump is almost certain to go out and vote for Trump again.
- There are small number of people who voted for Biden in 2020 who will switch to Trump
- There are large number of people who voted for Biden in 2020 who will not vote at all.
- Turnout in 2020 was already record high
- Biden only beat Trump in 2020 by a small margin
The only way for Trump to lose is if you introduce new democrat voters in 2024 that weren't there in 2020, or remove Trump voters that was there in 2020, but people age between 18 to 22 are far more likely to be pro-Palestine and not vote at all, while death from old voters are spread out and evenly distributed between Harris and Trump.
Which means only way for Trump to lose is with ballot stuffing, and democrats are rejecting voter ID for exactly this reason.
Not that any of this matters, no matter which side wins the other side is guaranteed to cry fraud and cause chaos, so as far as the world is concerned, there are no losing outcomes.
Historically, Republicans are underrepresented in surveys but poll in higher numbers during actual elections. Also, a lot of my Democrat friends are flipping to Trump so I'm leaning more towards him winning. It's a strange election though, Bush era Neo-Cons like the Cheneys are now Democrats and the Kennedys are Republicans. They are overseas betters/gamblers, doesn't reflect or represent the broader US population.
