I don't think he'd get decked but he'd quickly get police summoned on him. People in China are broadly speaking not used to aggressive thuggery on the streets, so he would stick out like a sore thumb and anyone who feels annoyed would just keep telling him off until it culminates in him catching picking quarrels charges or worse.
Well yeah it's super uncommon because of high social trust and low overall criminal rate, in that case, some good samaritan had to stop the sexual assault before it could continue, but likely police was on its way at the same time.
Street rape cases make it to national news on slow news days in China, and frequently end up giving death penalty as well.
Even notoriously difficult to handle hindu workers are kept in check, somehow.
I'm of the opinion to give more severe punishment for equivalent crimes committed by migrants, to deter transnational criminals and pre-empt them from organizing. But for now there is an overall fragile peace kept by social trust and public security, with no particular migrant groups standing out as a disproportionate criminal threat.
China is getting a lot more people from SEA, Europe, Africa and even hindus. The government must be careful.
