Eh I figured as much. This whole Taiwan Nationalism identity doesn't really have much motivation when people are more concerned about what future outlook is there for paying my bills. Saying I am notChina kinda gets old after a few years when you realise you still need to pay for your upkeep and you realise most of your money comes from doing business next door. It also doesn't help that bootlicking Japan doesn't seem so attractive when you notice they themselves have problems paying the bills and are not gonna give you any money. Same applies to America who cannot even save their own people. No wonder only young people care about this identity. Things do change a lot once your responsibilities go up.

This wont change much for Israel. but one thing is clear that Egypt is being kept afloat by billions of funding from Gulf and Gulf official media putting what they did for Egypt in 1950s. when they write about the past it means they are highlighting current failures. and this gives strength to Israel.

China must take the lead on food biotechnology in advanced foods like aquaculture, precision fermentation and vegetable protein instead of sticking with medieval food. There cannot be a situation where Chinese depends on anyone else for staple nutrition.
