The real question I have is what does Italy really have to offer China? If it's a bridgehead into EU markets, there is already Hungary, Spain, Greece, Portugal, etc.
One thing I dislike about Chinese state media reporting is how they like to portray China and their relevant state in a 3rd party role.

Which one? The only thing closest to it I can think of were the Knightly Orders, i.e. Templars, Teutonic Knights, Order of Malta, etc. None of them were aristocrats.
I see you're not familiar with Woodstock culture. This is the remnant of 1960s hippie culture: trance, high, shrooms, LSD, nonsense music, hashish, and random associations with distant tribal cultures that were perceived as exotic, as a form of rebellion against local culture. Unknown what Kamala Harris' foreign policy is going to be except what she's done following Joe Biden's foreign policy. Her focus is going to be on domestic to build her legacy on. She might have her VP handle foreign affairs. If she picks Mark Kelly, he's going to be anti-China not because of this but because supported Biden's tariffs on China before this news came out. Which means he'll be even more anti-China just to prove he's not in bed with China.

They don't dress like indians, they dress like hindus, because its mostly dancing & singing. Its like asking why your kid prefers to go to Disneyland instead of doing sports outside home. Hindu isn't a culture. By their own admission its a way of life. Now who wouldn't like a way of life that has only dancing & singing?
Furthermore, in Bengali culture, both here & in west bengal, you will see ,specially during durga puja & holi, other religion's people, specially boys will go to these festivals. They don't go there for liking hindu culture, i'll tell you that.
